Well, I just recently got my main account banned
(yeah, I know I should have used a disposable toon) for SH moving packs under the map to FD. I had moved 15 packs to the Gilda trader over a period of two days, because I figured they were watching the gold trader and didn't give a rat's ass about the Gilda. In all cases but one I did the turn in with no one there to see, and so it was fine.
(I never touched the NPC Gilda turn in guy, I got close enough that the pack turn in icon appeared and clicked that)
What got me nailed was
ignorance and stupidity on my part for not having read the entire thread,
and not understanding pet aggro/behaviour ranges when they are set to aggressive attack mode. The Eastie Red had placed herself by the gilda guy, but had her pet out, she obviously never saw me as I was under the ground but she must have had her pet targeted, because her pet did see me and targeted me but could't attack since I was out of melee range, but the Eastie's spells could, quickly followed by her killing me since my GS sucks. This was of course after I made the turn in, and she reported me and taunted in shout "GL with that appeal petition". I was banned the next day.
Likely I would have been banned from that eventually since It's
clearly stated in multiple places in this thread that
moving packs with SH isn't worth the risk. and most likely would have triggered an auto-ban anyway.
I'll make an appeal of course, but don't really care if they return the account or not, but I lose nothing by asking. Though I won't be able to claim Lag as I was obviously busted, the only thing I'll be able to Is ask for forgiveness and never again SH on that account if I get it back.
Still worth it, as I was actually having fun exploring new places and seeing new stuff. I was also surprised at the amount of bots I saw hanging out under the map obviously F2P AB accts farming labor since they TP away when you get close, makes me wonder if they do their planting and havesting while under the map too, though I doubt it.
As a filthy casual, I didn't have a bunch of gear, property or gold to get butthurt over, but IDK if i'll bother to grind up to 55 and with all the trees maxed again, I'll likely just take one class and stay with it, no sense putting that much time into something that will likely get banned again and I'll stay F2P, and just use Derp on other disposable accts.
