Well that is why the delay of the speed/climb has been set until then, to avoid the open abuse of it. I can say that the speed itself will be a at your own risk aspect of it cause it is highly noticeable and only tested on a small player platform so I cannot guarntee the risk of using it on an main account. The climb however is working nice it seems and I've adjusted the camera clipping to work as intended ( I hope ) and ontop of that something that may be of use with clipping but in a non-rendering aspect but it is still being worked on and the big step is tomorrow to drop a login then wrap the current derp around it and add the speed into it an let people go from there with requesting a login from me before accessing it and then, implementing even more an building the other parts of the mod around that.

I did say I would get to something bigger as a whole, eventually, now I've quite alot of time to invest coding on it here/there

I'm maybe the noob one, but, strange thing is, when i use the launcher in administrator, all commands doesn't work (well, seems to work instantly, but no mod works) and when i use the launcher normaly it takes 1min for Option 1 etc. And mods work. Which kind of code can refuse to be executed if you have all privileges and accepte if not xD

Edit : Btw, it's really a great job ! Correct me if i'm wrong but the game client is still clean after Option 2/4/6 normally ? Do you think i can launch more than one client at a time ?

It will turn on the button for non patron, but might be an additional check, not sure ( just giving you this in theory, but it should work ).
I'm heading to work so I don't have time to poke this for the next 12h maybe you can just clarify something for me while I'm gone (most likely will reply with my phone)

So I took the client apart for the first time, went to the right file but the files where .alb not .lua like you said, then I copied it and pasted over in the right place inside Reroll folder of yours so I could uninstall it, then I made a copy which I decrypted using Unluac and did the changes you mentioned, then I proceed and put it on the right place for it to be installed.

Now the problem is when I log in all the "right buttons" (Marketplace/Etc) are gone, even after I uncomment the changes and install it without changes its still gone until I uninstall the scripts and go back to the original file.

I'm thinking it was the Unluac not doing a good job, maybe I'm wrong, hopefully you can point me to the right direction?

Edit: Ooooh.. I'm on my phone and I was poking a little with the files, let me guess.. it's because of the file size doesn't match? lol

For any fishers out there, do you find derp useful for it? Do any of the sliders help you see fishing pools from far away, or approaching ships from far away?

Plox I was was wondering if you can add a feature to the mod that adds a button somewhere on screen that let's you enable/disable "Travel through other player's portals".
It could be really handy when you need it done or undone quickly.

That'd be cool, as requesting something could you remove the seconds from the auction house since it doesn't even work? just to make it look cleaner HH:MM

I saw another post on Reddit that looked pretty nifty, and that was being able to change your class from anywhere as opposed to having to go to a nuia statue. I think that many would appreciate being able to change on the fly.

That is something I already had done, but had not udpated recently an was actually being problematic - I'll look at it though.


Am working on the newest version of derp, forgive me if I do not give much of a reply until this is completed and yes I have started on it a bit early, but I intend on rebuilding this from the ground up and adding the climb / speed to it upon its release which of course, will be login based.

When that is finished, I will update derp & add the new update for the portal mod & that and some other cleanup's I've done. No worries

Love the work Plox, thank you for the quick updates and support/care.

It'd be cool if the clip functions were different, by that I mean instead of unrendering things to go thru I'd like to see everything and still go thru things, by removing collision perhaps?

More convenient I guess.

Edit:

I tried adding the auction house, and I was able to enable the button and such but it still says I need patron, after a while with no success I gave up, and quickly changed the warehouse NPC for the auction, the window did pop up but it still said I needed Patron lol so I was like... meh, not worth it, I'll be getting patron soon anyways xD

There will be, I've been digging into something thanks to people testing some things for me and clipping will get a change to actual clip instead of unrendering. The first task was to rewrite everything and redo it wrapped around a login, which now is done & being tested. After that, I'm releasing it to the people, which will auto update when I do an update for everyone as I go and be self-sufficient as opposed to redownloading the entire mod folder over an over again to get what you need from derp. It is NA time for late currently, but I started early and have finished everything except the look of the UI, all backend leg work is done so once the people make sure its bug free for me, I'll publish it for people.

A huge debate between people, because of some things coming to be released, is either or not the mod should be separate from derp and derp itself be a extra-paid access considering what will be in it outside of what already is ontop of the functionality coming and what isn't anywhere else currently. I don't know where I stand for this right now and am undecided. Some things will be quite game breaking and almost a 'p2w' option and I'm not sure how I want to handle it..


And to answer your question about the patron problem, look at the featureset checks in the AH scripts
