Prob just detecting the file edit and something you'd want to look into the launcher about unless there is an integrity check within the client on RU ( I've only looked a little, been busy on the KR & NA/EU version ).

They were discussing a guy who did a chargeback it seems from what I can gather and I get a laugh out of people who post shit about things they know nothing about - its like a band of ignorant retards over there..
There is no malware anywhere in anything from me, be it with the mod, derp lite, or derp and because people don't know what an encrypted/obfuscated program is and run things on it an freak out an go "ZOMG VIRUS" and they think I'd actually honestly give a shit to bother with they're archeage account when even though there is
some money in it, I'd rather stick it to the suits ( trion/xl ) then the player base and I've never bothered to put anything malicious in any code unless you want to talk about hooking methods or memory injection/manipulation which in a sense is malicious since it does count as a hacking tool/method.
I protect the source of derp, to an extend ( not everything is protect-able an can be reversed ), to make it harder for the developers ( xl ) to see what exactly I'm doing entirely an to slow them down from patching anything out and to prevent easy prying eyes so people don't mooch off me ( like alot did in gw2 an took credit for ). I even making mention of a few key files I was editing on these forums awhile ago an XL quickly put some locks down on them ( which didn't matter anyways because I already broke there shit so it just made me have to point a plugin to additional files to automatically unpack ).
In short, it is a cat/mouse game, I have to try to protect my stuff or think of new ideas and backups just incase, they have to patch an do theres, people don't understand this concept and are ignorant to how things work and don't know how to properly check a file without using a website or crappy antivirus to do it for them.
Long story short, if you're getting your mod/files from somewhere else other then me, then that is your fucking ignorance for doing so because most of the RU community is shady fucks an none else is doing it really an even so the RU guys didn't think I could do half the shit I've done in memory cause all they want is to brute everything with packet editing.
So to all the legit people that read this thread, post stupid shit on reddit and the archeage forums about the mods/derp/hacks, do yourself a favor and shut the fuck up because your an idiot and all you people ever do is assume dumb shit all the time..
P.S.: So some people before thought you couldn't do it without packet editing an that all the "tricks" where fixed for this but after a bit of bordem from being sick for several days I decided to take a crack at it and show it off and give a bit more of a show for the removal of underwater breathing too so thus
is me removing the kick from going into unknown areas ( without packet editing/database editing or "tricks" & purely done in memory ) and the removal of underwater breathing. Sorry for bad quality, I've never been known for my video editing skills.
