what happened to the site?
maintenance? ddos? twitter feed is dead too.

If you think we can be brought down legally or illegally you're pointing to the wrong direction.
The datacenter had a maintenance which lasted about 30minutes, the entire night the servers were online - the main reason why 9D wasn't brought up was because one of the administrators was sleeping and after which went to university without checking the servers, the other one didn't know how to set the rates so he left the servers closed.
P.S: If you're unable to connect (503 Service Unavailable) to the website it's mainly because the DNS backend is playing (it's using a complicated prevention domain name system) around and hooking to new servers.

Just remember that play9d is ran by 3 top security people/hackers on the entire MMO scene, lol...
They might suck at managing play9d's community and content, but they sure know their **** around security, so yeah nothing to worry about.

sry 4 bad english but....
the server is not in maintrance... i think the most of u got the HackShield Problem and can't make a "Network Connection"
U must use than another Hackshield folder. When you played on GC than copy the HSHIELD folder from GC to Play9D. Than it will work! when you don't play @ GC sry...

The handle error has been [503] for a few hours. Do
you have an ETA on when it will be fixed? I also
agree with Zyklon [ddos]... maintenance would not
crash the website internally.

Nah, as far as I can see it isn't a DDoS attack. I'm waiting for the administrators to wake up and fix it, so unfortunately no ETA yet. I'll probably post here once it's up and announce it in-game.
