New Land Sighted!

In two weeks something revolutionary’s happening in Iberia – a brand new server launch in every country! Discover a whole new you on the untouched server, whether playing in German, French or English. We’re also going to have some awesome events to coincide with the launches… wait to find out more!

To be honest, why they can't simply give up? I mean, it's obvious that the private servers have the control over the game now. Do people really think that this step could change everything? The incompetent owners of 4Story didn't change (maybe quit :P), also the strong Pay2Win will never vanish from the officals.

For me it seems like that ZEMÎ and GF want more money from naive players.

Wow I'm suprised.
I think it was a Zemi idea.
Let's be honest if this Server will be the same as official ( German, Polish, CZ ) people won't play there from 0, if they have already a equipment on other offi servers.
I'm curious if it will be a one big international server or a separate server for every country.

Every country which already has or had a server will get a new one, patch unknown (probably the current one with the same team, so **** as always).
Thats at least what I understand with "a brand new server launch in every country!".

An international one wouldn't make sense, because the remaining players have for sure no real experience on international servers (language problems + different culture).

It's pointless to open a brand new server in every country if old servers are almost empty but we will see what's bring the future.

Maybe with some parts from the "update" which zemi had planned long long time ago..

Exa why would they have to give up? Ppl would stop playing p4s/araz/ancient if they would make new engine add new things to the game but nope they will make another server what will bring dead normal servers xd .

Because they can't repair the broken community, they lost all the trust of the players and can't do anything without a lot of flame. What do you expect what will happen in a few years?. Exactly, due the P2W and inexperienced, inactive & incompetent 4S team members these new servers will fall after a few months into the state of the current servers. Just think that a "rollback" won't change anything if you don't repair the base - and the base is sadly ZEMI & Gameforge.

Another problem is, that no one has a reason to give up his existing gear on the old servers, apart from the problem that cashers will kill newbies with their +22 (or even better due the new tincture).

No, only a new engine wouldn't save the game, apart from the fact that pservers create more new content in one month than ZEMÎ in a whole year, especially P4Story.

The new engine won't change anything, ok maybe the game will be running smoother etc. but that's not the point.
Gameforge and Zemi need to rework the whole concept of their servers which is almost impossible, let's be a realist, they are not going to change the whole P2W concept of this game.

The question is: is this new server a zemi or GF server? I think GF is a very bad publisher for 4story and they have not taken very good decisions within last years. If this new server would be a zemi server with less pay2win elements it could be really interesting to play on this server.

I really like the idea to start from zero to hero, but these new servers should have:
- pve structure
- possibilty to farm cs-items in dungeons
- daily-login rewards
- higher rates than official server, but lower rates than most of private servers.
- a modern graphic
- class balancing
- more races
- no broa

Without any revolutionary change these new servers would be empty just like remaining 4S-servers

No. I'm sure it will be some kind of Gameforge server, because ZEMÎ can't handle all these different countries, just think that GF has a separate community + team for every involved country.
ZEMÎ needs ~1 year to fix major problems (e.g. Win10), don't you think this would be too much for them?

No you're wrong, it's just a question of balance and management. The perfect proof are pservers like Ancient and P4Story, where old and new/custom made content work together.


Another way could be an united login access for all countries with the same client. Everyone knows the server selection after the login right?

It should be no problem to add one new international server there. But I doubt something like this will happen, even if it sounds very realistic.

I saw few posts from the 4story offi Administrators and I think it will be just a regular server like ( DE, CZ or PL) with same rates etc. just with a new name.

If you try to enter you either end in the login screen or the msg "The name/ID is already in use." appears.
It seems like a prepared test session with deleted account tables and the other ****.
Also, one CM of GF said it probably has "another" patch. I hope people don't expect too much from this step.

If they add new content like maps/textures/effects, the only winners are the private servers, because they will use them too.

Nope they don't because they're using the same client and in this version there is no new maps or textures.
