Well in my opinion the things that make up are a server are in fact the people that run them. It's not every day you have the owner of a private server going to their community to find out what they like. For example two out of five people may like a low rate server but three out of five may like a high rate server, So how should or would you go about doing this? Simple you add another server. This gives the people an option to what they can and want to do. As for the donation portion, I stated in my topic asking about some clean server files that I am from the EO community. Something that may be able to balance the problem between donations and non donations would be to make a quest line for say and example. ( Please no one take this in any wrong way seeing as I am just starting out in the ZO area but I would like to express my opinion in the best way I know how.)
Donations - You get the items pretty fast of course
Non - Donations - Set up a quest line.
Example - Create an item called a "Sun Stone", Say you have to kill a certain amount of monsters on each map in order to collect a "Sun Stone" but for that you would need an npc. Sort of like Cronus Snipe from EO but ZO style. So you have your NPC, Your Quest, The item you receive, Now you need a vendor that will allow you to spend these coins on what so ever you choose. Say a weapon cost 15 "Sun Stones" and you can only do the "Sun Stone Quest" Once a day so it would take you 15 days to collect these. But then you also have more people that will be collecting them and selling them and so forth.
That would be an ideal way of balancing out the donations. I hope this comment of my opinion won't be taken personal, But we are all here for some of the same goals. There's people that want to make money, Want the knowledge, Or for the simple joy of it. One way or another as gamers and developers we all have an obligation to help one another even though some times it may not seem right because you don't like the other person. But we can all learn something from some one else.

Yes I know it is a eo thing but both games are based off of the same function. I also noticed that some one else decided to use what I posted and posted in here. But I am not complaining and will not say anything because he is giving to everyone else.
