it would be nice to host 1 of the bigger company's but sadly enouf they are not hosted by me ( maybe because they got colocation or to explain it simple -> there own servers )

TQ big? LOL dude TQ's zero has like 100 players left on the original servers, zero will be DEAD very soon, also they do not have servers in the US, its a Chinese company. they have servers in china however they use hosting services in the states. also TQ is a rather small American company, the only reason they pop out games like crazy is they re-texture every thing then release it as a new title to rake in the money. at this point HiRez studios is a larger company then them (their states branch) and HiRez started 2 years ago.

This thread really has become rubbish, I have never stated Omni was hosted on the same garbage servers tq uses, we've had only one other long term host other than powerchaos (the one before that lasted even less time) and that host shut us down in sept 2010 over a dmca notice, powerchaos is safer in that regard due to dmca protection. I have however told you before blade that we had a better server that cost more than TQ's, and that TQ has their low end provider in the Bay Area while ours was in a Arizona datacenter. There is no way we could get away with being hosted by the same provider and not have someone show up at the datacenter causing mischief.

Also TQ (TerribleQuality) / Netdragon (NetDragqueen) is big, but english ZO is a dying failure of a game compared to EO, CO and the other games they have and TQ doesn't really support en ZO.

Even I want this thread closed now, it really has no relevance to idlemonkey anymore.

now on a different subject such as your mental issue. seriously I don't know if you cant read or your Dyslectic or are you Bipolar? you always fail to read anything correctly and then jump at people lashing out, i already can see you failing at zero you have no patients what so ever and you fail to take into account the advice (in good nature mind you )that is given to you by those whom actually had zero server running longer then 2 weeks. ( i am actually still being nice here.)

hahahah okay since Im dyslexic and cant read purhaps you can tell me how calling someone stupid or imparting they have a mental imparement is being nice?, or purhaps maybe you can tell me how suggesting someone will fail without even knowing them or what theyre capable of is in any way productive at all except maybe in a hope they might listen to you and quit.

seriously we dont have to be enemies Im not even competition for you, never claimed to be never wanted to be. I just want to try something new and have fun doing it most difficult part of this to understand must be the fact that I literally dont care if it ends up successful or makes money or not. I am fully capable of supporting my server myself without donations if no one makes them.(at this point I dont even have a donation page added to the website I am making anyways)

Im new here and would like to have a good time working on something cool I have seen some of the work you guys have done and it looks great

I am playing a server that I am hosting myself because there isnt another one available to play and this game looks cool. any of you guys are welcome to come play as well, or if you have your own servers and dont play others thats okay too,positive feedback is always welcome.

Im here for the duration or until I get bored with playing this game(which I dont see happening right away)
so lets have some fun instead of arguing because Im not going anywhere

if you re read the first time i posted i only stated how difficult it is to start a zero server. at first when you stated its up to date you could have made it clear you meant your OS, when you just state about starting a zero server and how it is up to date you are leaving to much out making it sound as if you mean the new files of zero from tq which is improbable. the only warning i stated was to refrain from using our client and I clearly stated good luck with your server.

the only reason I mention about the dmca policy was your stating its legit but even with chaos dmca policy its still stolen files from tq his dmca just protects from tq shutting it down quickly but tq are lazy so they might not take it to the next level which will allow your server to continue to run.

so no where in my statement before was i even trying to be aggressive to you till you misread everything shadow and i said and lashed out.

just a word of advice don't leap before looking next time saves you and everyone an useless argument.

I didnt mean my os thats what someone else said about it not me I meant I added the updates that I had already to update the client as much as I could in any event updated means exactly that updated didnt neccessarily mean"as" up to date as your client/server just plain updated

in any event Im trying to end this argument not disect it and try and find out how it started so can we not discuss these things any further? ffs
