As previously mentioned "If you are not going to update them, remove the link".
That is what was said and that is what was done.

Most of the guides are just old ones from 23 years ago. So no idea why people would expect them to be updated. When the same content is on youtube.

A few words of constructive criticism:

You come across very passive aggressive in your replies. I get that it gets annoying having to repeat yourself over and over again. But maybe its because your main post isn't very helpful.

Why don't you add an FAQ at the bottom of your first post to stop the repetition? I will say it did take a bit of guessing work to install the Zygor guides properly and you confuse things with all the other guide addons but yet none of them are complete, its only the Zygor ones from my understanding. It just makes it all confusing as you haven't written any guidance on what needs to be done.

It feels like there's a lot of pointless information and links within the guide that nobody needs yet no real instructions on what to do. A step-by-step would help people tremendously. I was lucky to find a reddit post that helped me (they also stated they found your comments unhelpful).

I scanned through hundreds of pages and see you constantly moaning at people for not providing more information in very passive-aggressive tone. You complain that they don't give you the correct information but you don't give them the correct information either or ask them for what information they need to give you. Its very contradicting and hypocritical. You make your own problems with your inability to provide better instructions.

Maybe it's a language/communication issue, I'm assuming English isn't your first langauge based on your typing so maybe you don't realise you're coming off rude.

I, again, thank you for your guide, but you really need to drop the arrogance.

You using multiple accounts does nopt hide who you are.
You need to drop your passive aggressive posts.

21 years addons have the same installation
21 years people have installed it the same way

1. **Download** the addon (.zip file).
2. **Manual Install**: Extract to `C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft_retail_\Interface\AddOns` (Windows).
3. **CurseForge**: Manage AddOns → Install addon.
4. **WowUp**: Add WoW folder → Search → Install addon.
5. **Verify**: Login → AddOns → Enable → Test.

**Tips:**
- Keep addons updated
- Delete old versions if issues arise
- Keep backups

But according to you this is not clear.
It is the same way for 21 years.
It is the same way people do it.
Never in 21 years you install an addon inside an addon. I say never to do it and people do it.
So if people can install an addon. Then intentionally install it wrong. I am not to blame.

Oh seeing your first language is not English, would you prefer I speak in French?

Respectfully, you just proved his point. You're gaslighting all these good people saying they intentionally installed the addon wrong, no one is doing that.
I also suggest maybe specifying the actual folder names and where they go. I know this is crazy but quite a few older people also play wow and have no idea how to install an addon yet would love to make the leveling process easier. Wish you the best.

I must be doing something wrong, but i cant for the life of me figure out what it is that i am doing wrong.

I have installed the "Rested XP" addon, but i dont understand how to get it to be the full version? The addon works lika a charm, but only the free part. I have read the first post 100 times but i dont get what i am doing wrong?

No one is doing that? Playing anniversary and takes mists of Pandaria.
I say extract to addons, like all addons. They extract to RXP guides folder instead.

I seriously suggest you stop here before you make it much worse for yourself.

?? All @ and I did was offer some advice. If you check the other threads, this one is absolutely the most toxic on all of EPVP. It's a cesspool, and I think that directly reflects on how you treat other members. We do appreciate the files, but it's unfortunate you seem to be the only option. That's all I'll say; I'm going to grab my files and head out. Wish you the best.

There is no reasoning with you. I said this to try and help you stop having to repeat yourself over and over again.

Read up on how other people do tutorials for guides. They do step by steps. I managed to install them easily because I had very decent knowledge and been playing games adding mods/addons etc... to them for 20 years. But it does require guessing work.

Here is one tip. I had trouble exporting your RX Custom rar file. It wouldn't export with WinZip, 7zip or Windows File Exporter. It would come up with an error (error 0x80960002A) thats had only 2 results on google that didn't help. I managed to make it work with WinRAR, and I saw many people throughout the comments saying this issue too but instead of suggesting to them to use other extractors (or maybe you should re-upload it without it being a weird broken Rar file???) you just go off on a tangent saying they're not giving you information to help?? Help them help you.

I have no idea what you're hinting at about me having a new account in December but suggest my comments are from before? Are you suggesting im someone else? Mr hidden intent? I can assure you I am new to this forum and have only just started playing Classic WoW from November and just wanted an easy guide to use while leveling ready for TBC.

I've seen people like you on forums before which is why i called it out, you're so used to people just thanking you profusely for giving us something that you found online for free and repackaged, yet you haven't done any of the heavy lifting lol. I could do the same and repackage all this and start my own thread on a different forum, one with much better guidance and kindness.

If you had bought this with your own money, I would be more respectful of you. But your attitude and rudeness is why I'm choosing to call you out.

All you do is negate and deflect. Just think, if SO MANY people have issues, as a 1,200+ page thread suggests, maybe its not them, its you. Once again, genuinely, thank you for collating this, but dial back the rudeness. I've said what I said, I' don't need to go on and on.
