Delete the WTF and addons folder, then repeat the above. (Cause, for some reason folders get locked as read only. So it cannot make a settings file if the folder is read only)
You can choose to backup your addons saved variables and copy them back.
Step 1: Download the RestedXP addon from curseforge. Iit will create /Applications/World\ of\ Warcraft/_classic_era_/Interface/AddOns/ (replace classic_era with the version of wow you have)
Step 2: download something that can unrar files. I tried 7zip and unrar, installed with homebrew but they did not work. I installed "The Unarchiver", which is a free app either from the App store or homebrew and that worked.
step 3: download the link to the guide
step 4: open Guides.rar with The Unarchiver. It will unrar into a "Guides" folder.
step 5: holding down the Option Key, move the Guides folder into Applications/World\ of\ Warcraft/_classic_era_/Interface/AddOns/RXPGuides
Holding down the option key is important. Do not hit replace. That will remove the existing AddOns/RXPGuides/Guide folder. Hit Merge.
Welcome, the way I do it with my topics is. I post a folder and that gets updated as soon as I make a release. So people get the Release, before I can even post there is an update to the forum. So it will be up to date faster and saves posting links. So I will just post the changelog and people can get my releases from the first post
i dont see the "new" link, i only see "classic link to old releases"
or those old ones are the ones that i have to use? im confused
So you only checked the top of the post? It is old releases, Then a changelog of both. then link to new releases. Then dynasty addon and link. Then Dugi and link.
Then links to archiving software. Due to people try to extract a new file with old software.
