This is not working for me... can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
1. I open MyWarcraftStudio and create a new MPQ archive called Patch2.mpq
2. I say add file to archive, choose the .m2 file and change the directory to Item\ObjectComponents\Ammo\ArrowFli ght_01.m2
3. I say save & close archive.
4. I repeat the same thing for Model.mpq
Well, when I open wow the new animation isnt there... shows the regular one
Wie beschrieben geht es bei mir nicht, allerdings ist es gut möglich das ich mich in der schreibweise verfangen hab.... Die Folder usw. sind alle wie beschrieben vorhanden, allerdings wir Ingame alles wie zuvor angezeigt
Wer mir helfen kann, es zum laufen zu bringen hat einen Wunsch offen.
Klappt super, endlich wieder Kraeuterbuesche etwas sichtbarer als dieser Defaultkack (lasse sie mir als Thoriumvorkommen anzeigen, sieht man aus aller Ferne).

named a new MPQ file model2.mpq, then tried winmpq to put the TrollFemale.m2 in the Character\Troll\Female\ directory inside model2.mpq, but isnt working
I can get Mywarcraftstudio to put the m2 files in the MPQ file, but i can't seem to get it to allocate a filepath such as Character\Troll\Female to the file.. so I had to try winmpq
have they changed the place were it looks for the models to patch.mpq? it used to be model..
can anyone help here?

Edit: i think i have the pathfile correct for trollfemale.m2 in my model2.mpq, but still no luck, have they changed the default file that WoW reads character models to from model.mpq to patch.mpq?
i REALLY need to get this working again btw, its driving me insane :P

Nur bei mir ändert sich das model nicht obwohl ich mir sicher bin das richtige model gechangt zu haben.

Kan man das player model überhaupt nochändern zb Taure -> Orc
ich hab alles sowie früher als man nur den character ordner erstellen musste die orc dateien reinschieben in die richtigen verzeichnise und umbennenen in Tauren -nur diesmal als mpq namens patch2.MPQ im data ordner
verzeichnis in der mpq Character/Tauren/Male mit den umbenannten dateien wie früher
funzt aber nicht kan wer helfen oder wie muss man es anstellen damit es geht ?
oder gibts auch noch ne mögklichkeit ohne mpq erstellen nur wen ja welches verzeichnis ? kan zwar jetzt die patchmpq öffnen bringt mir nur nichts :/

The workaround?
1. Open mywarcraftstudio
2. In menu go to: pack -> create mpq archive. Call it whatever you want, doesn't matter
(EDIT: Apparently it must be called the same as an existing mpq, but with a number 0-9 behind it eg. speech2.mpq or patch2.mpq.)
3. Add your files to swap into the mpq, make sure you enter the right folder location
4. Open WoW
