See Enemies Weapon Drops Before Kills

This is a confirmed exploit, but might only work on EU servers. It has not been verified on US servers.

This bug is located at the Alter of Storms (and possibly other places) in the Blasted Lands. The mobs walking around there tend to have a bug with weapon drops. If the mob is going to drop a weapon or offhand, you will see them carrying it around instead of their normal default staff, sword, etc.

This is very useful to scan around for epic drops, seeing as the Krol Blade and Glowing Brightwood Staff have the potential of dropping here! Thus, you can run around scanning the mobs, and if one is holding a Glowing Brightwood instead of their boring staff or sword, you are guaranteed the staff when you kill it!

Wow, this seems to be true, one of the Dreadweavers where walking around with an big axe, when i looted him i received the Colossal Great Axe Of Agility, that looks the same as the one he held in his hand.

The same thing happened once more, one of the Dreadweavers where holding a mace in his hand and i got a grey mace when i looted him.

This also proves that loot is pre-determined when the mob is spawned, instead of allocated once there is a corpse.

haha ich glaubs nicht es funzt wirklich! hab eben ne axt bekommen und son schreckenswirker hatte tatsächlich auch eine inner hand

damit sind doch wirklich nur die schreckenswirker gemeint oder? weil die tragen bei mir garnichts, auch keinen stäbe doer schwerter, die schwerter tragen die vollstrecker und die stäbe die hexenmeister oder ist der bug auch bei denen?
