The point here is to log in using the same account so that you have actively two characters logged in from the same account.
If that doesn't work this whole thread is meaningless since it's possible to log in with two differents accounts on the same machine using the same install of WoW without anyproblems what so ever..

to run 2 a/cs on the same pc
1)you only one install of WoW
2) you ofc need two A/c's
open wow, log in with a/c #1 - go to video options - tick "run in wondowed mode" - and resize the window to about half the size of ur monitor.
open wow again, log in with a/c #2 - go to video options - tick "run in wondowed mode" - and resize the window to about half the size of ur monitor.
simple
there is literally nothing else to it, running both in windowed mode helps a great deal... i dont have an uber uber pc, and manage just fine
