[WSG] Get past the first gates before the game starts [Alliance]
[WSG] Get past the first gates before the game starts [Alliance(/Horde?)]
1.
Face the flag. The move to the right pillar. Now face the part where the pillar goes to the wall (so basically the most right side of the pillar). Stand against it. Now jump and once you are at the top of your jump, tap forward (once). This is the trickiest part, and might take a little bit of practice. Eventually you should end up like this:

Now you repeat the jump + tap forward combination to reach the top of the pillar.
3.
Now you are ready to move to the balcony. Face the balcony and jump to it. You can most likely even walk to it, since it kinda automatically wall-walkes.
4.
The dooropening at the balcony has no bars, so you can get past the first gate now! It's not exactly useful, but it can be fun to confuse people.

works also for horde and isn't it kinda old? I've seen this in many videos and afaik here in the forums too
but the screenshots are nice and its explained very well :>

was soll da man nicht raffn auch ohne English kenntnisse is es einfach

rein theoretisch schon, also mit stammgrp denke ich kein Prob, da dich von deiner Seite aus keiner Verpfeifen wird und die Gegenseite es sich sonstewie erklären kann. Nur wenn jm von deiner Fraktion nicht lustig findet kanns brenzlich werden!

Seit 2.4 geht kein Walljumping mehr demzufolge sollte das auch nichtmehr Funktionieren. Wenn doch is es eh gefixt wie oben beschrieben durch zurückporten.

This requires some skill with "wall jumping".

Wall Jumping: the best way to jump the way he does in the video is to click jump key plus forward key once quickly at the same time. When ever i do that all I have to do is turn my character with the mouse and it gets up to the roof easily. Hardest is mounting on an unmountable...

Get Past Arathi Basin Gates (Hunter)

Hawk Eye is currently bugged. The effect only lasts 4 seconds or so before it kicks it back to you. Well when you cast your hawk eye super far out it takes a moment to draw what you are seeing and then pops back to you but you are still channeling. Do this at the gate in AB at a super far away location and when it pops back to you run forward, the gate will not be drawn blocking you from going forward.

Well today we were doing Arathi basin when something weird happen. So this hunters pet goes past the gate (normal) he eye of the beasts him and sends the pet towards the horde base. While doing this a dwarf priest standing on the left most crack of the gate mindvisioned the pet. when the MV wore off because eye of the beasts ended somehow he moved foward and was in front of the gate. He mounted up and proceeded to cap the smith before the game stared O.o

Alliance Able To Get Past AB Gate.

I will post a screenshot of this exploit here soon, as i'm posting this at work. So the best i can do for now is mspaint.
It is confirmed ALLIANCE ONLY can still jump over the Arathi Basin fence.
You need 3 peices of riding speed gear (mithril spurs, riding speed to gloves, and your carrot on a stick), and your epic mount.
The jump point is about 2 yards to the right of the "right hand edge" of the "right arm" of the gate that opens at the beginning of play time.
