Always a good rule of thumb.
1. Vouches from users that are regulars, trusted, or have some sort of post history/account history.
2. Software that is obviously resold is almost always lower quality, usually detected.
3. Ask other users for there experience before buying, remember the owners claims don't mean anything if they don't have any evidence.
