Will Metin3 ever be released?

Actually it's a good question.
So let's get back in time when there was the M2M scandal.

As we know GameForge doesn't really like private servers, but the first time they did something against one of them was against the M2M in 2013. Mostly people think it was because they grew too big and made too much money, but it is not true.

GameForge really didn't care about M2M until they have bought the trademark of Metin3.

GameForge also had plans to build a new version of their best known MMORPG just like Laniatus Ltd. started to.

At first GameForge tried to buy the rights from Laniatus Ltd. but they refused it. That was the doom of this company and the whole M2M. As an answer they sued the Laniatus for using their game for making benefits illegally.

GameForge won this proceeding.

As we know Laniatus released their new game on Hero Engine that was theirs for real. This game got the name Magic to Master. This were supposed to be Metin3 and that's why Laniatus took the trademark for themselves.

But this reaction of GameForge can make us think they will do something with the trademark of Metin3 in the future.

I think these new wave videos and pictures are a sign of the new era of Metin...

i would definitely test it. i played metin for, like 7 or 8? years. it was a good game, until metin2 got more and more p2w.

Metin3 could be interesting.

Metin2 actually getting so worse with gameforge, they left a fullbugges MMO for years in processing and now they try to start something in balancing and game changing lmao.
Most unbalanced and bugged PVP game ever.

Metin2 needed some cirtical changes (game graphic / ingame systems / balancing) long time ago. Gameforge would rather spent their money into new Versioen (Metin 3) then trying to upgrade a oldfashioned mmo from the mid 20´s....

But even then, since the company is lazy as ****... metin3 wont be finish in a short time. And of course in the same time there will be much better MMO hitting up on release.

Dont want to defend Gameforge cuz they made a lot of **** but in this case i have to! Gameforge can't change Metin2 like they want, they have to arrange it with Webzen. Gameforge is only the Publisher, things like new Designe, IG-Systems etc is all stuff Webzen is responsible for.
