Nathan Drake’s journey officially ended back last year with the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End but that doesn’t mean it is the end of the franchise just yet. Naughty Dog has announced a new spin off game titled Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which is actually an upcoming DLC specifically for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in which players will be diving into the boots of Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross. The DLC will in fact be a standalone expansion but will serve as a sequel to the previous game. The game will take place in India as players embark alongside Chloe and Nadine as they search to recover an ancient Indian artifact and keep it out of the hands of the antagonist known as Asav. Not much is known about the journey that will partake when the game releases but it definitely brings up the question... will we see more?
For better clarification, will we be able to get more Uncharted games in the near future that will focus on other characters in their future endeavours or even their past? There is honestly endless possibilities that Naughty Dog can do in the future for the Uncharted games giving more answers to some of our favorite characters in the series. For example, could we see more of Victor Sullivan (Sully) in his younger days when he worked for Katherine Marlowe? Speaking of Sully, maybe even see what journey’s Sully and Samuel Drake (Nathan Drake’s older brother) will come across now that the two are working together. If we are talking about Chloe, could we see more from her and get to know more about her past relationship with Nathan as well? What about Elena Fisher? What about Cassie (Nathan and Elena’s daughter)!?
Honestly, there is a multitude of scenario’s Naughty Dog could work on to continue the journey of the Uncharted-verse. These possibilities opens up the door to learn more about our favourite character's past and future. What do you all think about this?
