Minecraft creator "Mojang," announced that “Minecraft: Xbox One Edition” is coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace this August. If you're a Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition user you will be able to upgrade to the Xbox One edition for just $4.99 for a full year from the game’s release but you must own the retail version (disc or digital) to receive the upgrade for this price, if not you can buy it for $19.99. This version of the game is developed by 4J Studios with Mojang and Microsoft Studios. The Edition will include larger worlds, expanded multiplayer features (such as the addition of multiplayer servers like in PC Minecraft), and enhancements offered by the console.

Trailer by "Hat Films" was made and shown during Microsoft's press conference at E3 2013.

To avoid starting from scratch, you can use the option of importing your saved game data and your "Minecraft" world to the new game.
