Solved the dilemma using a BTRFS snapshot instead of a seperate user
I'm running Arch with bspwm on my main user.
I'd like to try out the new unstable release of KDE, if I create a new user to install KDE, will that impact my old user's/systems data?
Would suck if I blow my bspwm when KDE goes nuclear.
Currently doing my own research as I've never attemted to install a second DE/WM in parallel before. Might figure it out before I see a reply here but yeah... Just in case someone here has done it before I'll keep this up.
