Ok...I'm going to show you how to make a basic Flash Trainer in VB6 (Visual Basic 6 if you are unaware)
What you need:
>VB6 (link:
)>A SWF Catcher (I suggest Sothink's one)
>To pick a flash game of your choice (I used HeliAttack 3 in my video)
>Brain (always helps)
Now, first open VB6 and pick your game (have it open in a webpage). In VB6 click New Project. I suggest making Form 1 bigger by dragging the edges.
Now go to componants (Ctrl+T) and scroll down till you get to 'Shockwave Flash', tick the box next to it, click apply and then close.
Now in the toolbox (on the left handside) there should be a new button which looks like a piece of paper with the top righthand corner folded. click on this and draw a biggish box.
Now go to the webpage with your game on it and go to: Tools > Sothink SWF Catcher (or whatever your SWF catcher is called.) Find your game in the list, right click on it and select properties.
Copy the URL and go back to VB6. Now click on the Shockwave object and go to the properites section (bottom right), Find the Propertie 'Movie' and pate the URL under that. Then set the propertie 'Loop' to False.
Now create a button and a text box. I suggest keeping the '(Name)''s the same (will be easyer when coding) but you can change the 'Caption' to whatever. Once you have both double click on the button. It should show some code. On the line before where it says 'End Sub' you will need to put some code. The code I used is:
Call ShockwaveFlash1.SetVariable("_root.player.health", Text1.Text)
lets take a little look at the code incase you do not want health or whatever. The 'Call ShockwaveFlash1.SetVariable' is just basicly telling the Shockwave object to set a value to something else. The ' "_root.player.health" ' is the Variable you want to change (to find a different Variable you need to decompile the swf file...but I'm not going to explain it in this TUT...if alot of people ask I will make another focusing on decompiling.) Finally the 'Text1.Text' The 'Text1' is the name of your textbox and the 'Text' is siginifing that it is a textbox.
Now that that is done you can test it...either by pressing the play button at the top or by pressing F5. You may need to right click on the Game when it is being tested and click play.
Please post for any questions, and I hope this helped.
