Add Setting option: Request a read receipt for this message
It would be nice if we could change in setting the option of "Request a read receipt for this message" so it will be always on for every sent mail.
At the moment we need to mark each mail before we send it.
I think it's useful especially for traders that would like to know if the other person saw the message or not.

It's already possible. Below the box you can choose the option.
If you are premium member you can decline the read receipt. Otherwise you have to confirm it.

I know about that option, and I explained that it's not good enough since I need to mark it every mail I send. My suggestion was to put a permanent option in the setting menu like:
Always request a read receipt for mails been send by you.

Ah I got it. I think that's a bit too much. No one wants to confirm every private message. It's useful if you use it right. Maybe if you traded and you send the etherscan.io link or a screenshot of the payment to your tradepartner.. my opinion.

I get what you saying. I ask the person to confirm the mail with the details of the transaction by replay to it, so it's even better then the confirmation of just seeing the mail.
Maybe what bathers me is that a lot of people are rude and stop responding instead of just saying, that they aren't interested, leaving me waiting for they respond Verification can tell me that the person didn't see the message and he might still be interested.

It's basically a javascript snippet, which gets included via GreaseMonkey or TamperMonkey and executes each time you write an private message. The snipper it self will then each time you come on the "sent private message" page, check the checkbox for the confirmation for you.
Sadly, i don't have the script to share with you

If you are using Chrome get TamperMonkey as Extension and add a new script:
It will check the checkbox everytime you create a new pm or use the 'advanced' context to reply to a pm.

Thanks for the information. That can work but I still prefer an option in the settings that don't require to install addons or scripts that might be insecure.

The Addon (TamperMonkey) is secure, as long as you watch, which extensions you install. And the Script provided by Syc is definitly save, you can check the sourcecode, it just sets the checked attribute of the checkbox to true.

We don't think it's necessary to add the feature, sorry for that. If you still want the ability to do that I'd suggest using the custom userscript.
