Every thread on the Advertisment section has his own structure, having a common template for every server posted there will help the users on finding, understanding and getting the information they want about the server being advertised. If the administrator doesn't follow the template the thread should get deleted and the mod should PM the creator reminding him about the template structure, if the server owner is serious about his server he shouldn't mind taking 3-4 mins filling the template.
It would help players find a good server for them. However, how do big & Good servers advertise?
The difference of the quality of a server is displayed directly at the organization and layout of their advertising thread, is it not?
Therefore, I´d say, dont make it complusory to follow the template however, encourage the ppz to do so.
(Have the template in the thread creation when opening a thread at the advertisment section... this way ppl can fill out their ****... easier => more ppz use it)

With template I mean the minimum required information and the organization it must follow, not how "fancy" you want to make it. You can use different images, or even post it as a big image with all the info in there, the important thing is that players are able to find what they are looking for because it is organized the same way as the other advertisement threads, this way you save the first 10 pages of "free sylk?" or "IP limit?" or "bot policy?" questions that could be answered since the beginning.

Yes and no, the images are choosen by the user, the point is require the same amount of information and that it is places in the same way for all the threads on advertisment.
