Uhh, the life experience card, with time comes experience and that is also wrong sometimes, it depends on the person how naive he/she is.

And I only said this about Leko and not about the whole staff, actually I nearly wouldn't trust anyone of you, last time they talked about more rights for mods I was against it.

So what is the point about arguing it out? There is no reason to use those "straw arguments" - this is "different".

Okey that's true, but i think some users with the ID-verified badge are trusted enough because elitepvpers has their identitiy and it should be possible to check his identity. Mai-Lin is also trusted.

But it would be diffucult to do this 'paypal trades' which are very common because it's always possible to recharge the money, so i think the current middleman system should continue exist.

Mailin is trusted due to different reasons you can't know as a non team member I think.

Yes that's right i don't know the reasons, but Mai-Lin was only an example...I agree with you that you can't really trust anyone on the internet.

The bad experience with that moderator who scammed means nothing. As I told I've seen other forums that are smaller than EPVP, but, still, they work pretty fine. The thing is they have to get chosen really carefully and get some personal information from real life. If it happens in any case to scam any user, Epvp can compensate the total agreement in the worse case. And of course, this would maximize the safety here in this forum.

Why would "I" give my personal infos out to "waste" my time as a middleman for a forum?

You could even scam with a middleman, that won't help preventing people getting scammed.

Actually the idea itself is nice in theory but that is all of it.


If a mod wants to be a middleman he could do it on his own in the MM-section where he could ask for donations or something else, similar to it.
(So overall, my opinion is that this shouldn't be an official thing, more like a goodwill-thing coming from mods.)

Well, you wouldn't "waste your time" but me or maybe other people would do that, so don't take it personally. And I think current moderators are not allowed to middleman. So your whole opinion is wrong and it's worthless to discuss with you as @ said

Totally, your idea is quite nice in theory but it won't work and you won't get it.
There were people having fake identities in here and no one realized it until they scammed everyone.
You expect epvpers to take actions but that won't work and saving peoples data, hell no, they won't do that.
They could scam you and just say the psc was used or sth like that. - What could epvpers do? Trust the mod or the guy that might have been scammed? No"authority" person should do something in the TBM-section in the name of epvpers.


And if you want a good mm why wouldn't you pay them a lil' as compensation?

There are many more factors that disagree with your idea.

I feel like you hate it to get critized on your ideas but w/e.

I have nothing personal with you but to let you know that you are still wrong. Check the only part I quoted from you. They can still sell an account, get the Paysafe card and say that it was used. So you got no point here. They don't need the middleman post to do that.

But you want the MM to make it safer to trade which won't work out because it can be "bypassed". Anyways my last post has more points against it and I am out of this thread.

You said in 'smaller' forums than epvp your idea works well but not in this big forum.
And i agree with @ opinion, that there are too much people having a fake identity, so this won't work on epvp.

His point was that moderators can scam if they get the middleman post. The idea is that they can scam even now by selling an expensive product so wouldn't matter. They don't scam now and the chances are pretty small to scam in the future.

Either team members or other people. Middlemen scams are becoming popular at the moment because new entries fall so easy to any word the "trusted" middlemen saying. Anyway, this was my general suggestion, anything that comes near to my idea is okay.
