What server files to choose?

Hi guys. I want to run a local private server for me and my friends.
We have a cap 100 version of JSRO running, that I found here on the forum, but it is not completely functional.

What Sro server files could you recommend for a vanilla experience with europe and chinese characters?
Is the cap different between the files?

The most important thing is, that it is functional and has as few as possible custom shenanigans added to it as possible.

I don't know the diffrence between the files from JSRO, VSRO, CSRO... etc.

Hey man, go for VSRO.

Vsro is just clean, bugless and have all the essential features like exchange, avatars, pets and so on. it simply works

In addition to that VSRO is the most supported files, supported by all filters
like VSROPLUS which is used for custom features and packet protection as well as ddos also exploits.

Almost 90% of the guides in Elitepvpers or any other forum is about VSRO files.

Even the best website that's available for free thanks to @

is based on VSRO if i am not mistaken.

It really depends on what you're planing in future also. If you really wanna stick to a vanilla experience, you can basically use anyfiles that are complete.

How ever, if you plan to customize and experiment around i highly suggest you getting your hands on 1.193 files wich are the most compatible files (VSRO). Nowadays iSRO-R Files work fine also but most people who have the complete bug-free files, wont really share, i'd stick to the 1.193, even tho 1.188 will work super fine, the 1.193 just offer a little more freedom.

I approve all your points, except VSRO Files are not "BUGLESS"

Its bugless simply because every bug out there has already been fixed somewhere and most of them are released, also by bugless i mean critical bugs, there are hardly any especially if you are using a FILTER like VSROPLUS.

Out of the box, its way better than any server files out there.

Also regarding the 193 files, these files are complete garbage, don't use them. either stick to 188 or consider spending your next few months fixing CSRO-R or ISRO R files, nevertheless none of these are vanilla like you requested.

Since I am not planning to add custom features the vsro files sound good to me. I will give the vsro files a try.

Also, blackrogue files are rly nice, i prefere cap 100 files, but cap 110 are also released.

It's not really bugless, it definitely has many minor bugs and exploits, but we can say it's the least with exposed bugs, and doesn't many have issues with basic functionalities.

Sadly I cant get the vsro files to work from the forum post you guys linked for me.

Some of the links are not working anymore, other files are removed by the antivirus automatically

Do you guys know where I can find a working version of the files DB, Server & Client?

Install them inside a virtual machine (VMWare).

Thanks I got it to work

Since I did not have a Database for these files,
I used the lvl 120 DB from your post here

Everything except Alexandria and Bagdad seems to work. When I go there, then the client crashes.
Is that normal or did I configure something wrong?
The client uses the 120 sro_client.exe

Are regions turned on? Just because the sro_client supports 120 cap, doesn't mean it supports all regions, make sure to check server files and also to check ur pk2 files if the regions are there.
