VSRO, CSRO, CSRO-R, JSRO, ZSZC, ECSRO, TWSRO.. Could you explain to me what these are? Are they different versions of isro?

VSRO = Vietnamese Silkroad Online
CSRO = Chinese Silkroad Online
CSRO-R = Chinese Silkroad Online - R
JSRO = Japanese Silkroad Online
TWSRO = Taiwanese Silkroad Online
BRSRO = Black Rogue Silkroad Online (Thailand)

Private servers :

ZSZC, ECSRO = Private servers using the older files that only have the Chinese Race.

Hi, I understand the ecsro and zszc part. But what is the difference among the rest? Is there a difference between zszc and ec?

For example why would someone use one and not the other?

Well, some players would choose CSRO because they live in China for example.
Aside from the obvious differences, you have :

-regional events
-regional changes
-different game versions (for example, when kSRO had introduced the Europeans, iSro would still be on a game version with no euros)

Coming back to your question, ecsro was cap 90 and zszc managed to get to 105, and to add 10 and 11 degree.
Different times, I think ecsro ended in 2010 and zszc started in 2010 or 2011, not sure.
