[Release] .pk2 less client edition
First off, welcome to this tutorial.
I see this as a really sick release since I never saw it before, but let me tell you about it. This was coded by (pushedx), and I'm not taking any kind of credits for this.
What is it?
It's a GFXFileManager.dll that will allow you to edit the Client ingame and also without extracting and editing the .pk2 files, everything you need todo is to extract all .pk2 files into folders and keep them like that.
This has a twist do if you are going to use this with loader and such stuff this will not work since its modified.
Btw: This works with SMC updater aswell.
Download links:
How to use it- Use any .pk2 extractor and extract all the .pk2's to folders.
- Download the custom edited GFXFileManager.dll and put it in your client directory.
- Start edit your client without needing to Extract, Edit, Input.
Also
I really like to work with this tool cause it saves alot of time, and I believe that it was not invented before or released, so have fun guys.
If you guys want me to release some more stuff just tell me and I'll do it.

You need to extract all .pk2 files to folders.

Give proper credits, it's created by Drew Benton (pushedx).
You can download it from original thread (RZ), just google "GFXFileManager-0.0.1"
Also there is thread @ epvp

Yeah, he's the only person (I currently can remember) which did something for community (not for money, fame or other reasons), not like other coders (including me :/)

First off, you do not need to give credits at all. Secondly you did not read my thread at all. "I see this as a really sick release since I never saw it before, but let me tell you about it. This was made by the one coder Xsense, and I'm not taking any kind of credits for this."
And btw here is a comment from his Youtube description

Right now, it seems most of the "read" functions have been emulated "well enough", since I can start the game and login. However, silkroad.exe cannot be used, since I'm missing functions it needs. I launch the client through Olly and skip HackShield loading and the simple launcher checks.
|
Did he ever release it?, cause all I know is that Xsense coded this, maybe he got the idea from him and you do not need to use olly for this.
Thanks anyway.

And why are you talking about money and shit? I never requested any money for this since I released it in the air, public for everybody.

I've read this thread a few times
I said give PROPER credits. My idea was that you are crediting wrong person. I did not said that you claim that it is your work.

Then you know nothing about this release.
Yes, Drew Benton (pushedx) released this in 2012 summer. Check the RZ thread (well, you can tell that it wasn't released here, but it does not change the fact that he created this gfxfilemanager API). I even compared the checksum of the gfxfilemanager in this this thread and the one pushedx have released, it's same DLL.
About the bolded part, you made me laugh He needed olly for developing this API. Of course you do not need it when it's fully done...

I never said that you want money from this, I just respect Drew Benton (pushedx) as a person and trying to defend his work.

Well never heard of that release, and my friends did not hear about it aswell. But I checked and it seem to be the same gfx, changing copyright (one of these moments when people say they coded stuff and they are lying) I believed that Xsense coded this cause he told me he did.
And about the olly part is that I read in his youtube that he could not start his client w/o olly, thats why I wrote that, but aswell that video is old. It's pretty weird that nobody uses this to edit their client, it saves so much time and effort.
Lies everywhere huh, thanks for telling me.
