Didn't extract everything now, because this takes ages, but I've extracted the sro_ad program and I can execute it successfully

KGB uses PAQ7 and there's no reason for this not to work

Probably, but sometimes when it's used to repack games, It ***** the mesh details completely. That's why I was telling you to re-extract again and test from a to z.
Anyway, thanks. I may add the usage of KGB in the thread.

imo it's better to just use 7zip
KGB is really slow. Extracting takes as long as packing(or evern longer) and at the end the archive was bigger than the 7zip one

These options worked best for me:


Would've liked to use more Threads, but yeah only 32GB RAM here...

Actually, it's only for those who are interested in. The thread purpose to completely insure the knowledge how to compress as well. *An exception for those who want to troll without appreciate the guide itself*....
But hey, I will do some researches about SRO being packed as repack / rip games. If I did it as well, I will post it here too.

Your client does not contain the useless shit that everyone willing to add. as I've said in the thread, I doubt if you've ever read it or took the title to discuss about. "I fault in the same hole by adding the develop tools in evolution client / add unnecessary files/bsr/bmt/ddj/etc." And, If you are seeing the guide as useless, You're not everyone.

How did make it that small....
I'm stuck at 1.21GB now with the current isro client(so no 14D stuff)

I did not remove anything from the client, I only put extra stuff in. I just rightclicked it and compressed with 7zip (LZMA2).

The guy who uploaded this replaced every character in every single file with y(at least that's what someone else did once)
