All of our information threads are in the process of being renovated.

We’ve noticed a lot of negative feedback regarding the text-heavy thread. While some players enjoyed this, numerous others did not, and prefer the original image-heavy threads.
In response to this, we are creating a completely image-based thread instead!
We are working hard to provide you with a more aesthetically pleasing and calmer thread. In a few days, this will be available on all platforms.

Old-School does not equal original or vanilla!

Old-School means a simple drop-based system, low rates, slow progressing, and minimally edited project which aims to emulate the original older system of Silkroad with tweaks to enhance the gameplay along the way.
Most of the community agrees with that definition. We've had tons of positive feedback over on our Discord server, Facebook page, and privately that correlates with that.

I find it funny that you are claiming that we have an "overedited pay2play system" as neither of these things are even remotely true compared to others.

1.) "Pay2Play System:"
Not only do we offer more ways to obtain free silk for simply PARTICIPATING than ANY other PvE server, but we also offer an Open Market System, which allows ANY legitimate player to PROFIT in REAL $ while they play.

Not enough? Perhaps you should check out the $4000+ in REAL CASH REWARDS that we are paying out. (There are more competitions besides the Fortress War tournament which have yet to be announced.)

Giving away so much profit & sums of our OWN money... I don't see how this server is "pay2play" even one bit.

2.) "Overedited Server:"
We do not have any type of overedited visual effects such as wings, we do not even have titles or icons. We don't have any custom seal glows or dye scrolls. We don't have any custom regions with custom monsters. We DO have all of the old interfaces as well. We DO have the original academy system. We are NOT using any type of custom coin/box system.

There are so many systems and features that we do & do not have implemented that it is pretty hard to say that we are "new school" in any way, shape, or form.

The only things I guess you could say detracts from the "old, nostalgic feeling" are the model switchers, events, and the new dungeon.

- Model Switchers:
Model switchers are an essential to supplement the income, as the server is basically free-to-play. As explained above, we have gone above and beyond to sacrafice our own profit potential in order to make the server friendly for all types of players, regardless of if they donate or not. We simply need a method of maintaining SOME sort of income to keep the server running & its expenses paid. This is not a profit-based server; however, this is not a "charity" server either.

- Events:
Enfexia is a competitive server. To maintain activity and competition throughout the server, events need to happen frequently. Running the same events over and over can be repetitive and therefore become boring. We certainly did not want that, which is why we've added such events.

98% of the "old-school" servers that are currently open have the same types of events, if not more custom and unoriginal ones compared to us.

Additionally, the events that we offer are pretty standard and common around the community. People are accustomed to & love these events - for example, Survival Arena. We don't have any new-age custom events with brand new concepts.

- New Dungeon:
We strive to offer content that pleases everyone. Simply having Forgotten World enabled is not enough to appeal to those who truly love PvE content, which is why we added this.
However; we will certainly be looking into modifying this in search of something more "nostalgic & original."

The server is not copy-paste original by any means, but there are certainly numerous old-school aspects throughout.

By your comment, it seems that you're looking for a vanilla 70 cap out-of-the-box system with absolutely no changes. We respect that; however, don't sit here and act like we are "falsely advertising," because that is simply not true.

You are more than entitled to have your opinion. Just thought we should clear this up
