Honestly lower the XP rate to 10x and party XP to 15x and you might have a good 'Long term' server.
Increasing the gold drop rate only inflates the server and makes it harder for new players to buy items, having it 2x is perfectly fine, anything higher is just stupid.
High rates get you to the end game faster, but the journey and the people you meet along the way is what makes silkroad fun.
