Ecstory short description:
EcStory a player versus environment (pve) type private server, for players from all around the world. The server is an exact clone of ECSRO. I don't think I would have to introduce it to you guys..
ECSRO was the first private server on Silkroad online.
In this time period almost all the players left their values behind from the old server and went to ECSRO.
But what happened to it?
In the middle of 2009 they made an update to the server and because of that Joymax stepped into their game and having all the copyrights they got the server closed in a couple of months.
After a lot of thinking we would like give this server back to you guys.
Files:vsro188. We tried to leave everything in the game that could remind you guys of ecsro. The music, design, skills, mobs, skill bars etc...
but you can learn more about it at the gameplay option in the menu.
We think that oldschool servers have not gone out of style yet!
We will not try, we will make this thing come true!
For years there were many new servers opening full of upgrades.
There is nothing wrong with that, because players need new things always.
But we should not forget about those who are still playing on the original (ISRO) server or about those who enjoy the original gameplay.
Server starts the 19th of july. (You can find the exact date below)
Obviously a lot of player will play on the server so we will pay as much attention as possible to you guys!
Until the end of summer we would not want to put any bigger events into the game because of summer vacations or bigger plans that could prevent you guys from getting anything big that is why bigger updates will come a month later from the starting date.
Bug fixing will constantly happen if course.
the server's slot will be 1000/1000 unless the server's status will reach "crowded" after that we are going to expand that.
These updates will happen in the upcoming months: Forgotten world(flame mountain), Roc set - plans could be changed or expanded.

Of course before all the bigger updates we will do a poll!
About us:
We are young programmers who can operate servers easily.
There were a lot of servers that we helped in the making as far as designing them or programming them went.(troubleshooting, support, code writing)
We cannot reveal our names or addresses for safety purposes.

We still have the client of ECSRO on our desktop. We have browsed and studied through the whole thing.
Therefore we have tried to keep everything we could to the EcStory.
We also kept the basic gameplay. We would like if the most time would be spent on communication. For this we had to keep things in the game that could only be reached by cooperating with other players.
As almost all the games are all about leveling up EcStory is no less than these games.
Be the quickest, luckiest and most unstoppable!
On each level there are new skill, new weapons, new garment! Leveling up will not be enough, do not forget to trade either, because you will have to buy items from other players or NPC anyway!

Alchemy:
We have boosted the alchemy system up a little and also put a Lucky powder plus, but watch out it will only make your chances a little bit higher.
These powders are going to be available at all the grocery NPCs!

Party monsters: disabled!
Fortress war: Only Hotan
Forgotten world: temporarily off!
Academy/Honor: disabled!
Job remover scroll: enabled!
Guild/union limits: 50/3
Advanced elixirs: disabled! It would not be fair against players to have somebody walking around with a weapon that's highly plused and to have a possibility to put some more pluses on them.
Magic pop: disabled: It would not be fair against hard working players to have wealthier players to get on higher levels be stronger for their money.
Degree 09 weapons: Seal of Star got extra sheens!
Oldschool/original +3 / +5 / +7 / +9 colors.
Cerberus unique: enabled and we put them in the middle of Jangan.

Stacking:
We wanted to keep the old stacking system, but we did not want you guys to suffer through the whole game.
Potion stack got increased up to 100.
Arrow stack got increased up to 500.
Elixir stack got increased up to 50.

Free silks: 1 silk/hour from the level of 80!

Further safety of the server is provided by an automated safety backup!
In every 6 hours it makes a backup of the server's database, archives and send it to a secondary server desktop.
Registering manually:
There is only an IP limit in the game that a Proxy takes care of.
PC limit would come with a lot of problems so we have decided not to do that. (Problems with Dll files, unstable login server and if that's not enough it can be easily tricked.)
We have decided that we will accept all the registrations by hand. Now it minimum takes 10 minutes and maximum takes 6 hours!
One person can only have 2 accounts. If for some reason we would not accept your request by accident we will let you know in an email!

Support is available 24/7. If you have any kind of problem just let the support know.
They will answer right away for anything!

3. Do not be ugly against other's religion! This cannot take place in the game! It is everybody's business to decide about what they believe in. But we do not think you should share your religion with anyone either.
4. Do not cheat! This means if there is a bug and you use it for your own advantage!
If you notice anything like that immediately let the support know! After all you just damage the server by doing that where you play too! But most importantly you cannot steal anything from anyone in the game in any way!
Everyone works hard for the things they have. Imagine how you would feel if the same thing happened to you.

We are sure you guys wonder sometimes, what we spend the money you guys put in the game on?
Of course primarily on the maintenance of server.
First things first we need to make and put up advertisements. We mean for example: Google, Facebook or other mmorpg websites.
Attention! Donating is not mandatory! Only do it if you are sure that you would like to support the server!
We do not offer stuff in the game that you can buy only for money!
After every 1 or 2 hours you spend in the game you earn FreeSilk!
