We have alot to encourage jobbing including coin rewards and increased gold for traders... we also have top 10 skill buffs and custom suites for all 3 jobs.

As far as the sox and the alchemy... I have already said MANY times that the alchemy will be low and the moons / suns are difficult to get but not impossible.

You'd be shocked how many 20-25 year olds and people who are even older who still play or want to play this game. I played in the 60 cap and all I can say is, it was spectacular...
We don't ask you to make it completely old school. But what we are trying to say is, keep it a low rate server (exp, alch, sox and so on). The problem about this community is almost every server fails in a small amount of time because of high rates. People just want a long term server I guess. All the other servers have zero job activity and it's fucking boring once you get your full sox set.
I don't need a fucking +15 sox set to amuse myself, I just want an awesome community that jobs and works together and fights eachother. I want to log in and see an active jobbing community.
Oh the good old times, they will never come back lol... And everytime a server fails I tell myself to stop this game and a few weeks later I'm checking EPVP for other servers again lol.

SRO works as a drug lol.

+7 is rare, and let me explain what rare actually means, it means there's around 7 maybe 8 of them in the whole server, maybe even less
+9 is unique, wich means only couple could ever be seen

that is old school, that's greece 70 cap for you, and greece in the old days had a hell of a community.

ps: and i'd even totally be up for a server even more old school, like 60 cap without alchemy or some shit, but i think 70 cap represents the golden age of old schoolness, even though nothing will come close to 60's jobbing activity. 70 does, but oh well, i guess you get what i mean anyway.

and to all you fuckers saying "Oh, look at how long the server is around", that's bullshit. You think 170 days is long? You think it justifies everyone having such items? There should nver even be such items in the first place, doesn't matter how long you've been playing.

I've always said this and i'll say it again. Players need to be rewared with status, not gear, not items. Big players appear because they get status within the server, that's how competition is created, that's how epic wars are fought, it's all hidden in the dynamic interactions of the players.

There are so many other people out there who have the same opinion and thoughts as you and I. I would litteraly kill a bad motherfucker to play on a 60 cap server. The only thing we can still do is dream about it. Sometimes I hope Joymax would open an old school server but that's never going to happen...

One idea I had, and i might do it in the future, is a 60 cap oldschool server with NO stones, tabs or elements and low alchemy rates ( like +5/6 max ) and seal of star only... so basically what drops is what you get...

Anyways, I know we are not 100% oldschool, but like I said numerous times my goal is balance and we will keep the moons / suns / alchemy low so that its a challenge.

Also, i changed the exp rates to 8x / 9x instead of 10/12x...

and these are the alchemy rates i set for tequila...
