as an addition: one thing is spending money to gain some money out of it, and the other thing is spending money for SILKS and WEAPONS or STATS FOR A **** CHARACTER!

so.. kinda 2 different things! i didn'T spend that money on a "character" lolz.i would never do such thing. i was simply planning to host a server as well. not a silk-free server, but..uhm..dunno.. where 1000 silks would cost 5$ or something. just to get the invested money back

no one can copy the joymax files because they every month or less change the op codes is easy and is hard to capture all packets is to much work and no one seriosly want to work on this

meh... What you all talking about? Waiting for server files getting leaked? It's not gunna happen and FYI Aion WoW ect run on freaking emu's... yea that's rite u emu bashers saying "Fack emu... **** bla bla bla" WoW, Aion ect run on emu's not server files and they work pritty well.
It's just the way silkroad was developed. It's alot of work to create a emu for it, also Aion n WoW have got a bigger player/fan base so as you can imagine there will likley be more people with the skills to develop emu's
Silkroad does to, just too many leechers, selfish ppl who like to bash hard work and demoralize ppl leaving them to disabandon thier work n ends up leaving projects unfinished.

Silkroad is maybe nearly 5-6years old(from ksro start), and no any good emu released to pub :/

guys there are ppl who make a living from server files,its like a cow who brings milk to the owner and the owner don't need anything else than milk,why the hell would you sell the cow ? Oo she never gets old anyway,maybe when there will be silkroad online 2 with who knows what and joymax will abandon silkroad 1,but that won't happen in the next 10 years for sure.

As you can see ecsro had outdated server with skill cap 70 and lvl 90,but they still maked a LOT of money with it.And if someone would buy those files would still be making lots of money with it.

Conclusion is that there will not be a release of the full working files soon.

the turks will spamm servers with 1000x exp, start with sun, unique event at start when everyone is lvl1...
90% of the servers gonna be a turk server.

I actually hope that server files are released and that they are so difficult to set up that only smart people can make them work.

And if you would be smart enough to make them work, you would also be smart enough to NOT release a guide for them here.
