I think a restard would fix the lagg only temporarily till it gets crowded again.
Every Pserver has the same lagg Propblem, I think.
As an Admin i would try to reduce the slot limit to 500 or something.
Sure the Server would be crowded very fast, but where is the difference?
The Server can work faster and internet connection would be better. And less afk Gamers =D
but maybe the lagg problems are not really fixable when they all have bad server files ...

Its possible they just *** a bad dedicated server.
Our first server had no HTT which caused a failure of 7/8 Cores.
With a new Server with 16 working cores the same databse works fine without lags.
It's possible that the logfiles are too big, they take much space but Its safe to keep them.
As I said, not the logfiles causing serverlags. Its the dedicated server.
Probably they will have to rent a new server.
We did also several lag-tests but nothing worked at all.
Therefore we pay 3x more monthly for the new server than for the old server.
