I'm one of the private servers owner, for the past decade, I dealt with the most toxic server's admins, the greedy, the gold digger and let's not forget the corrupted ones. But recently they raised the immorality bar to the peak!! I didn't want to share this information but, this is irritating and getting out of control.
One of the corrupted server owner is using his players (User name / Password) to steal his player's accounts on another servers!! Do you think that's it? He's accessing their social media accounts, and in some cases, their paypal accounts. This is so dangerous! Unscrupulous people like these can cause so much problems, going in people's private chats or leaking private photos or videos.
Please don't ever use same user name or password over and over in all servers. Don't ever use same user name or password of your social media or paypal in a SRO Game.
Remember, most server owners are here to milk people out of their pockets, they would do anything to suck money out of you! So, please don't give them the chance and protect your own information.
OK, its confirmed now. There are 2 of the Egyptian server owners, who creates new name for each server they open, the theory behind new fake names is they make a 100% corrupted server each time to milk the players, this is not enough for them. They use player's ID/PW to destroy other servers and sell items, steal credit cards or paypal.
Just imagine, how many fake name they used? pathetic.

security wise yes ofc you should not use same accounts across servers and also should not use accounts related to social media or others .
however i think you should reveal some details in order for the players to take precaution and also to **** the corrupted ones they deserve it

Sadly, there's leaked databases all over the internet that includes atleast 25% of SRO player's username/password. Those lifeless creatures have scripts that tries all ID/PS's on different game websites, the valid ones are getting stolen. No one in particular, not to be inequitable.
when we approve threads containing DBs, we only approve them once we check their AccountDB is clean
i CANT say anything regarding the ones sold on the TBM since i dont know how they handle that
Sadly, they still have the accountDB "the guy i posted his threads" he is lifeless. I warned people, but they seem to be naive, nobody cares about his private information.

it is funny how a "beware of your logins cuz people might have DBs with it" warn thread turned into a war about how "untrustful" each other people are. Side A takes on Side B and viceversa just because WHY THE **** NOT.
Whatever you think of Hypnos is irrelevant. What's true on all this is that a LOT of data was leaked. And i dont mean "oh, my hard work server files". I mean actual account data. If that data contained CC stuff, you, your server's userbase and maybe your friends stuff is in danger.
Instead of throwing blame on each other and trying to make "A look bad cuz i dont like em", you should all be focusing on alerting your playerbase and make fixes on all these issues.

As you're willing to keep this bullsh**, there's only one explanation and there's really no point of even replying anymore.
There is nothing against you, you were my friend one day, do not take the matter personally, and do not imagine that the whole universe is against you, the man only did his work, you were violating the laws of the site, so maintain a respectful dialogue style, we are not children here.
I have nothing against anyone but I have seen many servers leaking accounts and sharing personal information of their players and nobody has taken any moves against these people.
Only one i've seen so far was Hypnos, so I appreciate what you did man and I hope everyone take a good care of their information and into which servers they'll be providing their info
well to be honest i was thinking about something lately how the **** sailor got my email and i got tons of emails during the latest two weeks , i never joined sailor or even rigid or any server megamax have , and the most intresting part the email address which i received the sailor **** was the only email i used to register on one of these servers that has been listed even they missing one but yeah ... but now i know why ........

there must be something admins or mods to do to prevent and expose these kind of actions...

yeah. I got the email as well. Because of this, ill bring this up with the Epvpers Admins on the next meetup(next week). I consider that it is a HUGE abuse from a server to sell/distribute an email. Mine was linked maybe to 2-3 servers from like 6 years ago.
My idea is to talk this with the admins taht if we see cases where a DB is being swapped between server, it is a clear sign that they are doing this for fun and should NOT be tolerated.
