Viability of some ideas (Pserver developers could answer me this?)

Hi mates

As an old silkroad players, who loves the idea of a non bot server, where everyone really plays the game, and do quests / hunting together, I've been asking myself the viability of an idea:

Limit (or even block totally) the experience on a party if there is a level gap between members higher than lets say 8 levels or so... therefore this would end the "taxis" which on my opinion ruins the game experience, cause no low levels make any quest, people mostly just directly goes into some Ong/Penon taxis to level up.

This concept is used on many modern MMORPG games, where if a high level enters a lower level area, it gets the level and stats lowered down so it matches that area and don't overpower the mobs / players. As this is much complex to implement I guess, that's why I thought of this party experience limiting in the case of Silkroad.

This idea allied with some better quests rewards would completely change the experience of Silkroad. I would love to play on some server like that.

My final question is: is a modification like this even possible of doing on a private server or it can't be done?

There is loads of p-servers which is almost based on your idea
leveling up by quests and some game helpers not only Taxis
also there is PVP servers which is not based on leveling u just helper quest ,hunting uniques and all other silkroad things except leveling up

is the Private server ads threads you can find servers based on your idea

Hahahaha damn mate! What a time travel u did here! How many years ago it was that? Of course at some time of my life I already played some bot server, cause there wasn't always a great non bot server to play! And I always liked to help people, that's why the thread here! So what about it? I always loved playing without bot, that never changed

I wasn't the developer of the bot btw, just posted here and helped some people I could.

Well, your answer kinda impress me cause I searched - not once - for a server like this I never found one.

At the moment I think there's only 2 non bot servers, which only 1 is active (Origin Online), and it doesn't have a feature like I am supposing on this thread. The server is great but most people just level up by doing taxis.

I am just asking if it would be possible to make such modification.
