C9 even with enabling DMZ & disabling the firewall.

Hey guys,

I saw allot of topics on google according this topic, but i cant figure out where it comes from. I enabled DMZ, and disabled both firewalls (client and server) but i still get C9. When i use my dynamic IP i will get C9 on the local network ( doesnt matter if i join through local IP (192.168.xx.xx) or my dynamic IP.
When i use my local IP address, it goes vice versa. In that case i can join the server with my local address, but cannot access it through dynamic. I also tried a VPN , to obtain another IP address, this seems to work. Is it possible that something within the gateway blocks something which causes this problem?

PS some nice additional information, i checked all the ports through a IP port checker, and it seems that also those are all open.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Killerflood.

I am running almost a similar issue. In my case the server doesn't give me C9 but server looks in check state from client's perspective eventhough it is operational.

I hope you found the solution.

"Seems like open" doesn't mean that they are technically for real open if you haven't configured your router correctly for this task.

You have to open the following ports : purpose on your router:
15779 : Gateway Server
15881 : Download Server
15884 : Agent Server
(not necessary, but recommended)
21 : FTP Server (for guild/union emblems to be uploaded/downloaded at all)
80 : Websites

All on TCP protocol, running through IPv4 (not iPv6!).

I found the solution indeed, the key seems to be propper portforwaring.

Yesterday i tried to open some ports, and at some point i was able to log in.

Ports i did forwarded are: 15779 15881 and 15885. It depends on the settings of your server.cfg file.

Well, if you **** up the stock configuration, no one can ever give you a solution to that, without having the input that you altered that file in the first line.
