Cool. Now you just gotta make them able to actually move around, use skills, farm, and act like real players. Who the **** needs actual people, right?

If there's a possibility to make client-sided scripts server-sided, you could bring a city to life, as shown in this vid:

Actually, I made it in a certain way that this is not in the intro sequence, but in game. For example:

Sure, that is possible, because client functionality, but they will probably disappear like spawning NPCs/Mobs via scrolls, due to them being not bound or linked to a specific grid via the database.

Aion has a great feature for that (at least the emulators, dunno about the real server engine, if the developers actually thought about that and implemented it), you where able to erase, edit, add and alter mob spawns in game, while the server was running, which also saved the changes in real time being visible to everyone.
