Smile I have a good idea to balance the EU chars

1 - REDUCE MASTERY AND COOLDOWN HP AND MP

The problem of the European race is its subclass, euros will always be better than Chinese in group fighting because it always has 5 ~ 6 players on pt with cleric subclass, giving endless res, bless and healing. My solution is to reduce mastery to half and reduce cooldown hp and mp 15 sec to 7 sec.
If the European race continues strong, simply increase the cooldown until balance.

2- REDUCE DAMAGE

One of the biggest problems of the European race is its absurd damage compared to the Chinese, it is necessary to reduce the damage by 10%

3-REMOVE SET RESTRICTION

Another problem of EU chars is the set constraint

Wizzard may use heavy armor set and light armor set
Warrior may use robe set
Rogue may use heavy armor set and robe set
Warlock may use heavy armor set and light armor set
.....

4 -BUFF HEAVY SETS

-Buff heavy armor set (EU) and Armor set (CH). 0% speed move to 10%, 0% mp consumption to -10%.

-Buff light armor set (EU) and protector set (CH) 10% movement speed to 15%, -10% mp consumption to -15%

-Robe set and Garmented set does not need buff (20%)


5 - DEBUFF FORCE SKILLS PROBABILITY

Force (CH) and Warlock (EU) 80% probability to 55% or 60%

Currently impossibru / not publicized how to achieve:
Potion cooldown for Europeans are hardcoded (offset not public).
Same for gear/set bonuses (walking speed and MP consume reduction).
EU mastery offsets haven't been found yet, and I hope it will stay like this (and no, the recent topic about it doesn't change anything, totally heading the wrong way).

Possible but still tedious to accomplish:
Overall any skill in-game, be it damage, cooldown, half the stats, etc.
Armor restrictions. I've removed those from my server, has changed nothing but everyone running with either HA against STR CH builds or Robe against force nukers.

The unbalance between EU + CH has been something that's been around since europe was introduced to Silkroad Online (the official). There is nothing that a few "damage / defense tweaks" are going to do about that but further **** up the unbalance that is already there.

Im sorry to break it to you but those changes are quite bad.
The reason EU >CHN is not becaude the dmg or anything, sure EU has more dmg in all ways but the biggest problem is the skills CHN, THEY ARE ******* USELESS, as EU u have cleric, which can party heal, heal overtime, give an almost invincible buff and party res, in CHN you have force, whatever is that class if not for the pvp debuffs.
For pvp u have warriors , which can perma cc while dishing out very high dmg, in CHN you have the bower who can perma knockback you, which.he does if hes tryimg to survive and nothing else really, the point is the problem is not in how high EU dmg is, but how low the CHN dmg is and how useless and non rewarding the chn skills look like

TBH nerfing EURO that much will lead to loss that feeling of playing an EURO char, I have done a real balance on Araxion, you can find the thread on Advertising section.

Anyway it's all about the players they would like to play EURO as it is or do NOT play EURO at all. So they prefer CH only servers.

Well today I was thinking and it was stated that it's impossible to view if you have a +1 item unless you look in your inventory, but it is generated before its picked up. This could be a big job, could be worth it if it was possible and done correctly though. Turn the items on the floors into items in your inventory images, I should probably explain a bit more. The images that are used in your inventory, put those on the floor. That way if you moused over the image it'd show the +1...
