If you plan on starting a server project, the idea should be simple: cap 110 unedited, few tweaks but as close to original as possible. This, if it's stable, will get you at least 1k online daily. Probably 2k if you get a professional team to help you.

It might go that way, this was a university-driven study that I have to do, but I might be going to open a server based on the answers I receive from this.
It was kinda always been my dream to open a community-driven server, and most people seem to enjoy that idea.

Filled it for you. Also, it isnt possible to open a community driven server , what they want in patches usually just destroys everything , and the source of the problems mostly. Players opinion should be considered, but your team should make up the patches , not the server .
E.G : Would you increase silk/h to 25/h ? Vote yes / no . What you think community would vote for? Now think what would it do to your servers economy. (If you are experienced , if not then i'm talkin to the wall haha ^^)

But that's exactly what a community driven server is, we ask the players what they want, we take into account their opinions and study them. We see the impact it may bring, and if we should go ahead with it or not.

I know what you mean , it's nothing new, most servers are community-driven. We add what people want (if it's possible) but it just kills the server in the end :/
