Thats right, thats why VSRO 274 are the best choice in my opinion.
private servers are there to fix joymax misstakes the newer the files the more good but also bad features added.
The art is to find a nice balance between good and bad features and in my opinion VSRO 274 is just perfect, it have the new alchemy system but thats the only disadvantage compared to other files.
And its way easier to add new features to silkroad then remove already exisiting stuff. (just check the new job system or the pvp capes for example)
but it would be interesting to see the ISRO database just to check if joymax learned new stuff

That's true i also don't know the new job system for 100% and i think that's why i don't rly like it... I think with the new job system there are not that much job wars like with the old one...

The job system debate sucks. My first attempt at Myth Online used v193 files with the new job system and people complained about it.
The second attempt with Myth Reborn using v188 files and the old job system with a few extras wasn't good either, people complained aswell.
The whole job system is kinda flawed, old and new are unbalanced and rarely fun, it should be reworked.
I will go further, the whole grinding process involved on SRO is flawed and should be reworked aswell. Once you get a few years of perspective and play other games you notice how bad it is.
The only thing very well done on SRO is PVP and unique hunt/instances and that should be the focus on most pservers. If you need to bot on a pserver it means the whole game is flawed.
If anyone is interested I can elaborate on the details.

Well, At the end of the road no one can do new models or anything to make sro better also you are working on their files ( Job passed ) so nth new to do also no one have gs & no one can decompile it to make sro better.
