Hello Guys,
sorry for not keeping you guys up 2 date the last weeks.
here is my update for you:

I sadly just noticed that the OVH servers series from 2016 isnt very stable (atlease not with a Windows Server 2012 R2)

I tested the SP-64, SP-128 and the MG-128 for a few weeks and i came with all to the same result.

Problem is that i bought the SP-128 (the last server i tested) for a few months so i invest all the budget i had for the server hardware into the server (4 months ~ 850€)

Well, my solution is now i will go with a SP-128 from the older generation (2014 series).
The only difference between these both servers is the random access memory (DDR3 instead of DDR4) and the central processing unit technology (Ivy Bridge instead of Haswell) but thats ok, you as player wont feel any difference.

As soon as OVH delivered me the 2014 Servers i will give you and update here

if i am waiting also for stuffs (launcher designs etc) i cant give you news

i could write that OVH did **** again and i changed the hoster now finally but i think that isnt interesting for you

but well, i cancled the servers by ovh and went to an UK hoster, i hired a graphics designer who will make the launcher design, the website is currently in proccess

you wanna my personal opinion ?
job system is the main cord of any sro server, and while players (old/new) hates the new job system and prefer old one
so if you are really gonna do it then at least simulate the new job system

many players they say "new job system sux" doenst even tested it and ye, the old job system is totally abuseable (cheat able)

simulate old job system:
collect goods from monsters and bring them from JG > HT for example

i think thats very very close to the old job system, ok... there are no NPC thiefes but to be honest they never was a problem if you had hunters with you.

they just love the idea of trader on pet hunter defend and thief as thief
since there's no trader they gave up even trying this system

yes there's already caravan from town to town as it was on the old but this time there's no trade scale (there's no 1~5 star trade) even the reward is not gold i guess , black and blue stone which they are already has been set in the shard settings (means at the time can't be swapped with gold)

just the idea that hunter can go trade and thief also can do, is sucks as they consider job as a war , where's the war if both can do their own jobs separately ? or at least they wont be natural enemies anymore, as both needs each other to co-operate, both needs black and blue stones for job items so they wont fight anymore xD

i already tried to simulate it but there were no any fabulous ideas about it

Your argument has considerable extinguisher on...

you will get blue & black stones (hunter = blue stones | thieves = black stones) this will avoid a inbalance between Hunters and Thiefes (inbalance fixed)

If you want gold, just take your blue & black stones and sell them in a stall (gold problem fixed)

Why should i attack a trader in old job? Correct to get MORE gold the same counts here kill the enemy and get MORE stones (gold if you sell them) and tickets (crafting materials) and sure u will get an awesome title if you wear job suit, giving both the same job just makes everything more fair and protectable against cheating

Old Job (Gold): why should i waste my time with trading if i could bot.
Old Job (Coins): hey, lets ask some trader friends to drop goods so i as thief can easy collect them use bandit scroll and get easy coins
New Job (Gold + Stones + Tickets): this system is just safe against cheats and you cant get everything just by botting


trade scales (1* - 5*) was only required for the NPC spawn count since there is no npc spawns anymore it isnt required. And NPC spawns was never a problem (just take pills and enough pots for your pet and keep going) so, whats the problem with the missing scales?

about the new job system story: lets rename thieves to smugglers and its fixed aswell

i just see advantages compared to the old system:
-crafting system
-end level content (job suit)
-job titles
-no cheats anymore
-job levels becomes important
-job quests
-new market (blue & black stones)

so the new system is compared to the old one way way better, its just up to the players what they will do with it.

seriously? i'm totally agree with you,
i tested the new job system at csro-r for more than 6 months now, figured out everything about it
even loved it
loved the idea of consignment which is sounded like a server event , a big war between both hunters and thieves
crafting which is another type of alchemy is not bad too
but in a serious case like a public server you gonna hear what i've exactly said above
well anyway i'm not disappointing you , absolutely i encourage you , it's a psro server after all so you don't have to keep that system as it is , customize it as possible as you can

Lemme drop a bomb:

As you can see, players want cap increasing and i will do that but i got a nice system wich improves this system very hard problem is it required level 110 so i will keep that "event" in my mind until we reached the max cap of level 110

well lemme explain you the event:

every 2 week there will be an automatic 24 hours event. This even is managed by the quest system of silkroad (new job quests) well, its planed that you as hunter (or thief) have to enter the job temple, kill the unique and pick the quest item dropped by the unique.

now your job is it to bring that quest item from job temple to alexandria to complete the quest after the quest is finished you will get that quest again and have to complete it again

anyway the team wich completes the most quests after the 24 hours will get a reward (people they completed more quests will for sure get a better reward then people they did nothing)

and yes, the higher your job level is the more hp / speed have your transport pet and the easier it is to complete the quest

if you like the idea would be nice if you press "thanks" just to see how many people like that.

you got already dw cave which almost useless in psro you can set it as job area spawn the required unique and so on

It wouldbe nice if you combined old and new job system. Most ppls dont like new job, becouse they cant do caravan every time they want. If will be possible to combine it so new job items will exist and ppls can make caravans it would be SOME EXTRA XD..... Im dreaming ^^

well, we planed to disable consignment trading.
many people actually forget target trading (when ever you want you can move from JG / DW / SAMA / CONST to HOTAN)

we actually planing on a way that forces hunter and thiefes to fight each other

Hello guys. I am new to the elitePVPers forum and I started to work with the Silkroad Server files a while ago. Everything is running smooth but my questions is: How do I increase the level cap? I wanted to add Level 120 cap but everytime I level up from 110 to 111 I get a crash and my character is bugged. How do I fix it or did I do something completely wrong?
