[Discussion] Exploit system (Features)

Hello,

As the title states, what features would you like in a anti-exploit system more then just defending against exploits?

At this moment I got:

• Exchange request delay.
• Stall creation delay.
• Auto captcha enter.
• Welcome notice to specific player joining game.

I've managed to break a lot of exploits

• All the tools I've released is fixed (doesn't work)
• T46 is also blocked
• Blocked like 30 opcodes which I knew about
• New function that blocks 60% of all exploits.

I'm coding on a new filter which is really strong, if you want to help me improve its security I will sponsor you with a lifetime usage of my filter. In general I just need to test against several exploits and capacity (in-game) players.

but with this u need knowledge and I dont think that your customers have much knowledge do parse those informations out of the gameservers. Why u dont make it simple for them, the more features the higher ur success will be.

- Auto Plus Notice with an easy self declareable min. Plus
- Max Plus with an easy self declareable max. Plus
- disable / enable Reverses for Jobbers (maybe?)
- Auto random notices
- IP Limit with an easy self declareable max
- insultfilter (which is cool, but useless as ****)

Yeah but you gotta understand that adding alot of crappy stuff like "logging" in a filter would just slow it down.

• Linux based so you use your own cpu power incase your filter is ****** coded (torque for example)
• send a packet to all ONLINE players (could be usefull for some stuff)
• max opt level (i already wrote the query to check the item for the torque guy)
• stability
• performance
• close / reuse opend sessions on dirty disconnect (to fix C10 problem)

and yes all these things is possible i done everything except stability / performance with python, a guy is recoding my python script in c++ right now

Advantages of Linux based filter:

• you can offer DDoS and Exploits protection from the same device
• easy to update without any downloads for the customer
• 100% protected agains cracks / leaks
• customer IP is hidden
• no idots can handle it since just a few ppl in SRO can handle Linux (notevenmad you are not one of them... you asked me a few times to setup internet connection on linux...)
• and all the Linux benefits comared to windows

Unwritten rule: if you collect help from someone you should help that guy in case he ask for help

and its not a advertisement, just told him what i done already and that he should do it on the same way because its the base (it is my opinion)

and i just showed the proof etc because he was like
"packet filter based on Linux... not possible"

Well you can't just walk around here making a name for yourself talking about how fyll kral you are and about how nobody is better than you and how you try to correct people around knowing it would piss them off and expect to receive help back. Me personally, even if your attitude pisses the majority off, I'd still help you if you ever helped me but in general, with this attitude, you're so getting nowhere which is currently being proven by how Akasch just tried to ass fuck you.

I had a hard time with the OVH - how to fix their fucking network, yeah since I was only doing networking on Hetzner before. Hetzner is easy just add mac and done, however OVH needs to mess up the entire settings to get a network working.

Yeah its true, I asked for your help because I had no fucking idea how OVH redirected their traffic.

I will be waiting when you release ur new filter, I will be the one destroying it.
