Question regarding private servers. 02/06/2013 - Rappelz Private Server - 8 Replies I'm looking to run my own rappelz offline. Is this possible, if so how do I go about doing it, and where do I get files to do this? This is mainly for testing purposes, and the occasional fooling around I want to do.
Question regarding the life of private servers 07/06/2012 - CO2 Private Server - 19 Replies I legitimately am wondering if private servers are managing to survive these days. The reason I ask is because I've taken a nice long hiatus while I attempted to gain a bit more knowledge with programming, and upon returning I see a bunch of new threads, very few being from anyone I remember with any real knowledge. So are private servers dying out, or if I attempted to run one, would I be able to compete to stay alive?

Most of the servers got high exp/drop rate and thats it, nothing more to offer like free newbie stuff, possibility to obtain things like salary with kill or anything like this, not even the quest rates are changed.
