make a p2p server, if more than 25 people joins, LEGITLY ofcourse, and if you prove that to me, i will donate 50$ to your server.

Oh btw, it has to be an old school server, with nothing on it

EDIT; oh by joining i mean like full time players of course

well who pay to join the game , i don't think he will log off from it or even leave it some day ^^
also yes old school server means nothing on it
but still there's will be some cool stuff that will make players interesting to join it

I really miss old times i had like in ECSRO(VIP). I still remember the moment i got disconnected from the server and wasn't able to login forever..

If it's going to be like ECSRO or ZSZC(whatever i forgot the name) i'm in. I don't care about silk or other dumb things. We can buy from other ppl who has silks.

So as long as it's stable, funny and balanced( i mean not 500x or not 1x). We should have fun while grinding and talking with new friends.. That's a little part of what i want to say. I'm in

There are WAY more ways to advertise your game server then just epvp. Ive run servers before and epvp only accounts for about 30% of unique traffic.

Not necessarily true... A good stable server with a decent contributing community could be one of the greatest servers... ecsro, zszc, diamond where all great servers and they didnt have tons of stupid addons...

Personally I like your idea... And I think it could be a huge success.... BUT..

- The owners and developers must be experienced enough to anticipate and handle ANY issue that could happen... which means you should have run a couple of populated servers and know how to deal / solve problems fast and easy.

- Know how to properly balance your server... I would explain this more but i could write for an hour...

good that the players who will pay the root and protection bills so the server would never close any time , but try to make it stable as much as you can

1st. i never said this is the only place to advertise, but if he comes to advertise here, dont expect him to get huge players from here for a p2p server with no specialty

2. that is utter bullshit. i dont know about diamond, but ecsro and zszc were the same owners, and they were both full of ****. corrupted GMs, ****** server, lag the whole time, and more stuff which i cant be bothered to type here. theyre werent great at all, they were considered good because those were the only servers at the time.

Why is investing time and money in a hobby a bad idea?
I fitness and used to be a gymnast, I put both money and time in those hobby's. Do I regret it? No.

If you enjoy a certain thing (the game Silkroad) you can put both time and money in it, without regretting a thing. If you don't want to do any of those, then I guess you should search for another game, and leave Silkroad behind - since you obviously started to dislike it.

i think he meant something else by saying investing money and time in sro is a bad idea. i think he meant that investing in something else rather like fitness , as you say, would be a better idea, since its not virtual, its real, so yeah i kinda agree, id rather invest in something real rather than something virtual which won't help me advance in my life.
