[vSRO 1.188] Remove the Auto Invisible of GM´s

i want to remove the Auto Invisible of GMs

Everytime a GM logs in, teleports or sth else he has to open GM console and type /invisible .. thats really annoying and i want to turn it off if a GM needs to be invisible he can type it into console, if not why make him invisible at all? xD
Anyone knows how to turn that off?

While I agree it sometimes might get annoying during development, its not something you want to remove from a live production server. The feature is there for a reason, you, as a GM, sometimes don't want to be seen, and disabling the feature would mean everytime you teleport you will be seen by the players around. It's easier to just un-invisible yourself the times you need it rather than appear visible everytime.

I agree with Synx.
We all know hows does that fell when your GM and your no invisible.
Tons of spam.And opening a console and type /invisible take like 3 secs

He actually asked how it works to delete it and not what your opinion is, about deleting it. To be honest i would also wonder how that works.

well, in my opinion the characters are set to visible as default except gms... so the gameserver should send the visibility info with character spawn packets. hm... logically it would be just a boolean value which you have to change

edit: after some thinkin'... sro_client is supposed to change the visibility in case the character is being a gm one .. but dunno, I might be totally wrong... I'm wondering if bots can see invisible gms in spying panel then it must be client sided...

Disabling that would be a bad idea, in a popular server (unless you're doing it to get attention)

GMs are meant to be invisible . That's the purpose of a GM, to observe, to keep the game running. A GM should appear just at events, just at important things. Remember the time when JoyMax added new GMs to the team and they started to appear around the town? Everyone was making movies and upload them to YouTube, a GM appearing in town was it self and event. Before this, GMs were like a legend . Everyone was dying to see one, it's blue and shiny armor.

I don't think so. I, as a proud botter... I never wanted to see a gm around.

Well, I would be in for a "Toggleable" version of the invisibility.
Still appearing the first time as an invisible person, great. By typing in "/invisible" it should deactivate the statement unless you are re-typing it into the console. It is quite annoying during development. As well, if you just want to test the degrees and were constantly typing /invisible into the console whilest teleporting from hunting spot to hunting spot.

As well, testing my new quest system (level upping only with quest rewards) forces me to teleport twice as regular necessary (to accomplish it, getting the next quest, etc).

Still be thankful you can click the "up" key for get the latest commands executed. Saves much time.
