Do you prefer the old or the new PVP system?

Which one do you prefer?
1) old PVP system (when you have to equip capes to PVP - avatars are not visible)
2) new PVP system (the one which you can activate in the Action window - avatars are visible)

virtually, they are the same, since the activation is just the same as using a cape(even same loadtime)
but i find using a cape being way more fashioned, hence, more attractive

I voted for the old one as well. Even if some avatars may look quite nice they make the pvp more unbalanced on the one hand and on the other equipment looks more like if you are "fighting"/pvping

I also think that the old pvp system is better, but unfortunately the files which has the old pvp system doesn't support battle arena, and there are no reftrigger tables in the db. So i can't decide between old files and new files.

what happens if you use the new system but make it so you must use the capes to access the pvp mode?
I think there must be a trigger over that

try looking on the cape's item effect, maybe there is a param that activates the pvp mode
Idk, since I have been researching the skillparams, it wouldn't surprise me to find it works like that

there are some params in _Refobjitem but they are the same in vsro and blackrogue dbs. and yet, the cape doesn't work on vsro. must be disabled in GS..

well ... i think battle arena is useless and it corrupt the game play.
it is just another fail update by joymax from the tons of updates they added to kill silkroad.
because when you add Arena you add coins .. when you add coins it will turn the game in a monopoly gameplay where wizards will have TONS of coins , etc

so bottom line : use this old files instead of vsro, i bet it is Blackrogue ..
only if you are going to add it as cap 100 server

i like the new pvp because you can wear avatar, D11,D12,D13 is ugly and d8~d10 was alright but i would still prefer my european tuxedo

well,its easier to find people with the new pvp system,but the old capes are still really epic

For me its simply that fact there a of course people who buy avatars just to become better in pvp. Thats not like its supposed to be

with old pvp system with capes its more interesting because you know what kind of set your opponent has and... capes = more style^^

the pvp was good as is back then and now its just lame

With the new system,some avatars really ruin the gameplay(gay demon shaitan accessory for example).

I also like that capes used to hide the idiotic light armor shoulder's design.
