The server everyone would play on?

So since the serverfiles got released the silkroad private server comunity got separated.Everyone joined the server they tought is the coolest and with the most "epic" cap.But didn't we all play isro when it was cap60-70-80-90 because it was the online one out there so cap wasn't a problem.But now since we have so many server to choose from we all go where we think it's the best.

So how to creat a server most would play on?
Well I have the follwing idea:Make a server where cap dosn't matter.A server where the 8-9-10-11-12-13-14dg items are all the same where your level dosn't matter make all items equal in stats and blues.Cap the server at lv140 max the masteries to 130 BUT make all skills addable from a certain level.Make stats equal wether it's lv80-90-100-110-120-130-140.Let the players choose their cap lvl based on what kind of degree set items they want!

Also nowadays people play because the server is pvp based /job based/or pve.

Well make a server where obaining an item is posible from trading/thiefing or from Battle Arena or from uniques give them options!
For the ones who like job make the curency in "gold coins" which are buyable from a certain job lvl and with a fair ammount of gold.
For those who like pvping make the curency in "arena coins" also consider a fair ammount.
For those who like uniques make the complete quests for the coins which require killing unqiues which will respawn in a very short ammount of time.

So when you get bored from camping at an unique you can simply go job or pvp other players.So it won't be necesary to change the server because the server you play on is only job based or pvp based you get the full package!

And also the problem with donating.Donating should help keep the server alive but also shouldn't help players become insant fully equipped and so on.It should have only dressed globals reverses pots etc.Because I remeber item mall was made for that to help you stay on the battle field longer and help you grind faster not become overpowered.


Maybe I haven't tought of all the aspects you give the idea because we are a comunity we should COMUNICATE! also this is just my idea so if some of you think you can realise this do it and have a large comunity since silkroad is boring without a decent coumnity where you can have fun time with other players.

And then you would have 3 server each with like 100 players on.I tought of this because I remeber sro being awesome when there were 2-3k players on thats when you can't get bored of sro xD.It's kinda my idea of the universal sro

Well I think this idea wasn't aproached either.But good to know some still try to make sro what it once was(a large comunity)

Like your idea but Silkroad will stay as it is.. The one and only way to get something great done is to somehow create a large community of active players... (Like PlaySro .. NOT )
Multiclienting really has to be limited to max 2 Accounts
And Jobbing should become a necessary part of lvling and stuff..
PartyPlay has to be a major part aswell..

Said someone who never gets picked up by any elites, oh the irony. Nonetheless, server failures weren't mistakes, but the mistakes of the management/developers - they couldn't do what they wanted to do so they either gave up or got buttfucked by random people they invited to the team.

It is really funny when you know that the person who says that is actually hosting every single server of his at his home PC, right?

Well I've spoken with haze about his new private server, his setup doesn't seem to be bad but they really lack structure in their team. Can't blame them though, I haven't seen a single pserver with a decent hierarchy. Well, we'll see what they come up with I guess; I only hope they stop hyping it everywhere without giving out a single clue

Let me clear some mysteries ,

First , haze is just one in a big huge list of other members it is not haze's project and haze isn't the admin of it , we all work as one to make it work

Second , the network is above all the team members which means it will never stop for someone , Synx was with us but before he announce his quit he was like he dont really care as much as everyone did so he has been out of the project by a vote before he even quit sro , that doesn't mean we dont respect him or w/e but the network won't stop for ANYONE . So if Haze or anyone will affect the network with bad way he will be eliminated .

Third , we are sure about what we will achieve because we will not host Silkroad only , We are opening ALOT of other games beside SRO , you might say so what is the difference ? the difference here is all the other games we are the ONLY network who have its SOURCE CODE not just the files , And with those games + our plans of sro community we will have in less than 1 year a 100k DAU .

Forth , We aren't sharing alot of info about that network because we are working almost all the day and also we don't want to share anything atm for some safety reasons and spam of course .

Fifth , No matter how some of you can see us , We are changing the Private gaming world to a better step and you soon will understand that , underestimating us is a big mistake

Sixth , The methods we gonna use to make a big successful network is not meant to be revealed now or later , it is something that only the staff need to know .

Seventh , Also one of the proves about how serious we are , the Project general fund is 200k$ . And when we reach 100k DAU alot of new investors will join .



That is it for now , i said enough already

Believe it or not all what i said is the ultimate truth .

Even if you still don't trust or believe any word we said , that is okay but just when the network start and everything we said happens in front of your eyes admit it then .
