I think the DB editor must have knowdlege in PK2 editing and Client Editing.

You should also look for people that can speak with community. Create two "teams".
First one for hardware, database and client editing and the second one for leading a gameplay. What for? For eg. job events like a 1 traders leader, 1 hunters leader and 1 thieves leader. And for any minor events like uniques, q&a, h&s, pvp tournaments every week, pvp championships every month and many more. Too many good ideas :P.
Awesome gameplay = awesome server. ^^

I've readed some of these idea's u guys are posting , and actually i am working on a server for already 2 weeks , it is pure trade / fw / ctf and job-kill based , the only thing that you wouldnt like in it is the cap ( 80 ) since ya'l want 60 one.
Anyways , with time when im done working on it , i'll post some more news and a server thread.

sounds like fun server i started on isro then cap was 60 it wuld be fun to remember those times it was so fun trading hunting thiefing all the time was soooooo FUN !! looking forward to this server just dont want to miss this server then its open :/

Silkroad concept is being anulated,whole design is Fantastic,all chinese spaces,all traditional suits and dresses,even a Sos means nothing within tipical servers around here.
When i played silkroad at beguinning,finding a piece of armor lvl 24 with betters stats was a succes a + 5 was epic and a Sos legendary that someday,playing, could be dropped.
Raising xp you lose all areas to explore ,many mobs to fight,less help you need to lvl(so less contact with guild mates),you canīt barely aprecciate anything but the difference in final items on players.
Silkroad is made to play till lvl 60-70 to enjoy all game and company with low rates forcing you to trade to reach gold,to celebrate a new horse,every piece of items one by one.
A little effort to reach cap and to value any new elixir you drop.

How right you are. When I remember when I started SRO I was jealous on my friend who was already lvl 24 while the rest of our Friends had been level 16 fighting tigers for DAYS.
Uh that was awesome when you could do a Job with below level 40 and have the most wrong skilled char ingame
