You wont find the source so i would just quit that path. The way to find out would be from someone bragging or someone who just admits it. I did a little network analysing of one of the servers currently under attack and the ips spiked from 200-300 legit users to over 2.5m IPs. So yeh..... This is why i sold my server atomix... because i knew this day would come and that it was best to get out with what i could and move on...

The owner of Epic Road installed this tool on their server, and were able to get proof that PlaySRO is behind the DDOS attacks.
PlaySRO is ddosing,
Nobody cares anymore, hack their servers, and etc... Do what you want to do.
Just don't argue with them on elitepvper's, go login playsro, and 1vs1 GM's.
I still think that Haze is doing this to make mirceagab look guilty and take the blame.

There are 3 days that my server is under ddos attack, hundreds of different ip, always on the same port: 25345, but the problem is that the port is closed!, turned antispoof rules,sent packets from 2k and response packets 500k.
I use ipfw as a firewall ..
Those are the rules that I've put in my IPFW :
$IPF 12 deny all from any to any dst-port 25345 in keep-state
$IPF 13 deny all from any to any dst-port 25345 out keep-state
$IPF 14...
