Silkroad VPS Servers

Lately I've been looking around at some servers and I have concluded that people don't really know what kind of dedicated servers they should buy for their server. Hence I've come to the idea to offer VPS (virtual private servers) myself especially made for silkroad pservers.

What's a VPS?

A VPS is bascially a small virtual servers that has all the advantages of a dedicated server, without the disadvantages: you don't need to worry about locking yourself out, you don't need to worry about disk health, etc. We all do this for you.

The biggest advantage is that a VPS is much much cheaper than a dedicated server, and we can customize it to your needs. You are also able upgrade to more ram, instantly, without any downtime. This means you can start small.

Why you?

I have been working with servers since I was twelve, and I've gathered enough experience with my past projects (esro, zelos online, etc) to actually manage a server securily, and efficiently. I know a lot about servers, and I know a lot about silkroad; these two combined made me have this idea, why shouldn't I offer my knowledge to the public?

What is the difference between a VPS and a dedicated server? Because dedicated servers are expensive as hell, and VPS seems somewhat cheaper.

In a VPS server the resources are virtualized. This means they run on a level under the dedicated hardware, it is basically a server inside a server (serverception). The main advantages are security and the ability to add more ram, hdd, cpu power, etc instantly without powering down. Because the upper level hardware is shared, the prices are much cheaper for the hoster because it deletes a lot of hardware overhead costs, and because the resources are virtual it's much easier to share

Still, someone said it before, and I'll say it once again.
Never buy VPS from someone who knows about the game, even if it was *** who's hiring it.
There is nothing called "Trust" even your best friends might betray you.

There is no real reason for me to steal any database you might have. I'll tell you why:

-I'm not in the silkroad pserver scene anymore
-I have got copies of the most advanced silkroad databases
-I have access to the most advanced silkroad emulator (why do I even need silkroad server files?)
-I am friends with some of the most skilled people in the silkroad community, if I wanted a good database, I would work togheter with them.
and finally,
-I want to help the silkroad community by offering this service, why would I betray you for a simple file filled with some random data while I have a decent business running?

Next step could be selling preset silkroad servers ie 80,90 cap etc servers. Would be cool if in the future someone would be able to open a zelos server.

That would be a really nice idea, but that doesn't really fit in my principes. If you can't setup your own server you shouldn't be running a silkroad server really.

Nobody is going to open a zelos server anytime soon though...
