From previous experience, it's not because of the forum, forums take a maximum of 30 minutes to set-up, I think It's the host.

He can say what does he think about the design but he can't really give a professional comment on Sinxtra's designs.

My legacy : fancy colors / too much textured. {not classic} because it's SO EASY to be done. The true test, creating something stunning your mind. I don't see any point of creating classic websites. Indeed, eventually, it will be some googled stuff with simple texts. Won't take less than 30 min to get the job done!

Lets see,
You don't see any point in creating classic sites but yet overtexturized designs are in your comfort.
This is a simple CLASSIC design

As you can see, there are several textures used and colours are matched to eachother.

Now lets a modern design from 2012 - 2013

- No textures
- Simple
- RESPONSIVE
- Simple colours
And most important... ORGANIZED.

I don't wanna start flamewars or anything but I am not sure if you know the difference between classic and nowadays modern design, a professional photoshop designer should know that we're living in 2013 and everything is starting to get simplified, nobody is forced to use this technique but calling it EASY to be done or googled stuff which I kinda feel offended by is simply disrespectfull and arrogant.

The true test is to create something that suits the user, something that has good usability and sometimes your mind doesn't match that kind of usability.
Creating a site with all the fancy textures and overused effects is not hard as you simply throw in effects and make them match, I don't see the difference with a modern design or in your way of talking "classic".

Look at this site, it's done very very well with goodlooking textures and amazing colourizing.


Their site is also responsive and very easy for the user to understand, nothing wrong there.
compared to this site which is simple attempt of recreating that what WoWReach did by using the same colour style and same structure. Where is the real test?
Also it's nowhere near responsive and it uses cheap textures. That is what I call, easy to create.


For years i've been trying to get the perfect combination of simple design and complex design, if you don't see textures anywhere, that doesn't mean it's easy or googled, heck I could aswell create the same design and throw brushes and textures all over the place but that is not my legacy so I find it useless and un-organized.

@Wow site, textured. that cracked effect @ the navigation bar = textured.
Anyway, I'm writing my opinion. that's it. Some people are loving the classic, some peoples are not. [including me]
Edit: If someone asked me for a classic, Ofc I will do it. but, nowadays, I'm creating only the ideas that comes to my mind and offer it. If you would like to buy, ok. otherwise,</care> <- not you, general speech.
And by the way, I created somehow a simple classic site "Fitting with your words about wow site"

Edit2: I don't wanna speak about toph designs at all. but, this one is his worst.

No color balance, Token header ' while he can do the same, the renders are officially released ', Look at the footer (If you saw velestia's site before) because they removed the footer now, it was simply a layer on the website itself. which not deleted from its corners. and I think you know what I mean.

Yet again I'm not sure if you read my post, it implies that you can sure combine textured designs with modern designs if you do it right like WoWreach did.
I never said these were not textured.

As for the Zelos wallpaper, it's a ******* shame that Velestia is using it without creditting or asking permission at Lordskizz.

Isn't long. 15 min for rendering the image. (and yeah, I am using pen tool-jelly?-) / adding the effect on hands-shoulders (to be perfectly as shown now)

Not sure what you mean with jelly, thats one of the 1st things to learn in photoshop... i use it everyday and find it very easy to use so i'm not sure what you mean with that.

Other than that; render looks good.

Don't take the jelly word as its true meaning. When I usually write jelly it means got it? <- someone like razvan will understand it.
